This is a list of dams in Tennessee that have been removed as physical impediments to free-flowing rivers or streams.

This would support 46 species of greatest conservation need, including the round hickorynut, as well as increase safety for boaters. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is leading the project, which has been awarded $500,000 from the National Fish Passage Program. [3]
