The WRHA also provides health-care support and specialty referral services to those Manitobans who live out of these boundaries, as well as residents of northwestern Ontario and Nunavut.

Riverview Health Centre is a community hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It was founded in 1911 by the City of Winnipeg as the Winnipeg Municipal Hospital. The hospital consisted of two buildings called the King Edward Memorial Hospital which was built in 1911 and the King George Hospital built in 1914. The Princess Elizabeth Hospital was added in 1950 as the first long-term care facility in Canada.

Bethesda Regional Health Centre, formerly Bethesda Hospital, is a hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba, one of seventeen hospitals operated by the Southern Health - Santé Sud Regional Health Authority. Bethesda is the largest hospital in the Eastman region. The hospital currently has 73 beds to serve the community and area, a new expansion that will add 23 beds began construction in 2023.
