The following is a list of notable sobriquets, sub-archetypes, and stock characters that are, or have been, used on the internet, to represent a generic or typical type, either online or offline. Some terms may be considered pejorative or disrespectful, depending on the context.

It became an Internet meme when its popularity steadily grew across Myspace, Gaia Online and 4chan in 2008. By 2015, it had become one of the most popular memes used on 4chan and Tumblr. Different types of Pepe include "Sad Frog", "Smug Frog", "Angry Pepe", "Feels Frog", and "You will never..." Frog. Since 2014, "Rare Pepes" have been posted on the (sarcastic) "meme market" as if they were trading cards.

The alt-right, an abbreviation of alternative right, is a loosely connected far-right, white nationalist movement based in the United States. A largely online phenomenon, the alt-right originated in the U.S. during the 2010s, although it has since established a presence in various other countries. The term is ill-defined, having been used in different ways by various self-described "alt-rightists", media commentators, and academics. Groups which have been identified as alt-right also espouse white nationalism, white supremacism, white separatism, right-wing populism, tight immigration restrictions, racism, anti-communism, anti-Zionism, holocaust denial, xenophobia, antisemitism, antifeminism, homophobia, and islamophobia.

Paul Joseph Watson is an English YouTube personality, radio host, writer and conspiracy theorist. He has been described as "alt-right" and "far-right" by multiple sources. Although as late as July 2016 he called himself alt-right, he no longer accepts that label and considers himself part of the New Right.

Shitposting is posting "aggressively, ironically, and of trollishly poor quality" posts or content to an online forum or social network. Shitposts are intentionally designed to derail discussions or cause the biggest reaction with the least effort possible. Sometimes they are made as part of a coordinated flame war to make the site unusable by its regular visitors.

Raheem Kassam British journalist and politician (born 1986)

Raheem Kassam is a British political activist, former editor-in-chief of Breitbart News London, and former chief adviser to former UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage. He has been described as far-right and right-wing by several media publications. Kassam formerly ran in the party's November 2016 leadership election before dropping out of the race on 31 October 2016. He was most recently the global editor-in-chief of Human Events.

Twitter may suspend accounts, temporarily or permanently, from their social networking service. There have been concerted campaigns to shut down terrorist organizations and accounts that promote terrorist action, most notably those promoting Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in the mid-2010s. Suspensions of high-profile individuals from Twitter are unusual; they often attract media attention when they occur.

Wojak, also known as Feels Guy, is an internet meme. An image depicted as a simple, black-outlined cartoon drawing of a bald, wistful-looking man, it is used to generically express emotions such as melancholy, regret, or loneliness.

Stan Twitter is a community of Twitter users that post opinions related to music, celebrities, TV shows, movies and social media. The community has been noted for its particular shared terminology, much of which has been appropriated from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE).

Remove Kebab 1995 song and Internet meme

Remove Kebab is a phrase that originated in the online community surrounding a Serb nationalist and anti-Muslim propaganda music video from the Yugoslav Wars. The phrase has spread globally amongst Neo-Nazi groups and the alt-right as a meme which references and advocates for the ethnic cleansing of Muslims.

Nick Fuentes American political commentator

Nicholas Joseph Fuentes is an American far-right political commentator and podcaster. He was formerly a YouTuber before his channel was permanently suspended in February 2020 for violating YouTube's hate speech policy. He describes himself as a nationalist and paleoconservative and is said to hold white nationalist and antisemitic views.

Robert Evans is a journalist who has reported on global conflicts and online extremism. A former editor at the humor website Cracked.com, Evans now writes for the investigative journalism outlet Bellingcat while working on several podcasts, including Behind the Bastards, It Could Happen Here, and Worst Year Ever.

Karen is a pejorative term used in the United States and other English-speaking countries for a woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is appropriate or necessary. A common stereotype is that of a white woman who uses her privilege to demand her own way at the expense of others. Depictions also include demanding to "speak to the manager", anti-vaccination beliefs, being racist, or sporting a particular bob cut hairstyle. As of 2020, the term was increasingly being used as a general-purpose term of disapproval for middle-aged white women.

Boogaloo movement Loose American far-right extremist movement

The boogaloo movement is a loosely organized American far-right anti-government extremist movement. Adherents of the movement are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois. The movement has also been described as a militia.
