The following is an incomplete list of current and defunct magazines published in Malaysia. They may be published in Malay or in other languages, including English and Chinese.

Contents

Women's magazine, comic magazines, [1] film magazines [2] and others are common in Malaysia. The first women's magazine was published in Malaysia in 1932. [3] In the 2000s there were nearly fifty local titles addressing women in the country. [3] These magazines also include those having an Islamic perspective. [4] Some international women's magazines are also published in Malaysia. One of them is Elle Malaysia, which was first published in March 2014. [5] Another one, Women’s Health , was started in April 2015. [6]

It is published ten times a year in the United States and has a circulation of 1.5 million readers. The magazine has 13 international editions, circulates in over 25 countries, and reaches over 8 million readers globally. Before its acquisition by Hearst, it was founded by Rodale, Inc. in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.

The Malaysia Premier Futsal League (Wanita) is the top flight women's futsal league in Malaysia. The league is managed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). The competition has been founded in 2007.

Saleha binti Abdul Rashid, better known by her pen name Salmi Manja, was a Malaysian novelist, poet, and journalist. She was among the first Malaysian professional women writers and best known for her 1960 novel Hari Mana Bulan Mana. Femininity, women's issues, and Islam are recurring themes in her work.

Puan Sri Datin Seri Panglima Sakinah Junid was the long-serving Dewan Muslimat's Chief of Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) for twenty years ranging from 1963–1983. She is the wife of Asri Muda, PAS leader.

Mustaffa Bin Abd Rahman is a Malaysian businessman and he was conferred the award of "Darjah Kebesaran Peringkat Pertama Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang" which carries the title Dato' Sri by the Sultan of Pahang on 4 February 2017.

Siti Zaharah binti Sulaiman is a Malaysian politician. She also was the Minister of National Unity and Community Development, Malaysia. She was Chief of the Women's wing of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) from 1996 to 1999. Siti Zaharah is a former member of the parliamentary constituency of Paya Besar, in Pahang for four terms from 1995 to 2008. In 2008 general election, she was replaced by Abdul Manan Ismail from BN-UMNO.

Nona is a women's magazine published in Malaysia. It has been published monthly in the Malay language by Shah Alam-based Kumpulan Media Karangkraf Sdn Bhd (Karangkraf) since November 1986. The magazine's tagline is "Realiti Impian Wanita", literally meaning the 'Reality of Women's Dream'.
