Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is an international airport serving Taipei and northern Taiwan. Located about 40 km (25 mi) west of Taipei in Dayuan District, Taoyuan, the airport is Taiwan's largest. It was also the busiest airport in Taiwan before the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021. It is operated by the Taoyuan International Airport Corporation. In 2016, it was ranked the best airport for its size in the Asia-Pacific region by Airports Council International.
Taipei Songshan Airport is a mid-size international airport and military airbase located in Songshan, Taipei, Taiwan. The airport covers an area of 182 hectares.
Kaohsiung International Airport (高雄國際機場) is a medium-sized civil airport in Siaogang District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, also known as Siaogang Airport. With nearly seven million passengers in 2018, it is the second busiest airport in Taiwan, after Taoyuan. The airport has a single east–west runway and two terminals: one international and one domestic. It is owned and operated by the Civil Aeronautics Administration.
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport MRT, commonly known as the Airport MRT, is a rapid transit line of Taoyuan Metro that connects the municipalities of Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan with Taoyuan International Airport. The 51.03 km (31.71 mi) line, from Taipei Main Station to Huanbei, has 21 stations and began commercial service on 2 March 2017.

Taichung International Airport, previously known as Ching Chuan Kang Airport (清泉崗機場), is an international airport located in Taichung, Taiwan, which is used for both commercial and military purposes. The military part is called Ching Chuan Kang Air Base, the largest air base in Taiwan. It is also the third international airport in Taiwan, with scheduled services to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

China Airlines Flight 120 was a regularly scheduled flight from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taoyuan County, Taiwan to Naha Airport in Okinawa, Japan. On August 20, 2007, the Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating the flight caught fire and exploded after landing and taxiing to the gate area at Naha Airport. Four people—three from the aircraft and one ground crew—sustained injuries in the accident. The fire had been caused by a loose bolt puncturing a fuel tank.

Civil Air Transport Flight 010 was a passenger flight from the now-closed Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong to Songshan Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. The flight was operated by a Boeing 727-92C with registration B-1018 and named "Super Cuihua." On 16 February 1968, the aircraft crashed into a Hunan village in Linkou Township, Taipei County, killing 21 of the 63 people on board as well as one person on the ground. 42 people were injured.
