Little Rock Southwest High School, also known as Little Rock Southwest Magnet High School, is a public high school in southwest Little Rock, Arkansas.
Groundbreaking occurred in 2017. It replaced J. A. Fair Systems Magnet High School and McClellan Magnet High School. [1] Additionally it took over the attendance area for Hall High School, which was converted into Hall STEAM Magnet High School, a magnet only school. [2]
It has 400,000 square feet (37,000 m2) of space. There are 65 classrooms, with each having 900 square feet (84 m2) of space. [3] It opened as scheduled in 2020. [4] It had 1,930 students in September 2020. [2]
Altheimer is a city in Plum Bayou Township, Jefferson County, Arkansas, United States. It is situated on the Union Pacific Railway, 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Pine Bluff. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 984, down from 1,192 at the 2000 census. On January 22, 2012, an EF2 tornado struck Sweden, damaging grain bins and metal buildings; the tornado continued to a point northeast of Lodge Corner in Arkansas County.
