The KATV tower was a 2,210-foot (670 m)-tall television mast built in 1965, which was located near Redfield, Arkansas, off of Arkansas Highway 365. At the time of its completion, it was the third-tallest man-made structure and second-tallest broadcast tower in the world, and the tallest structure in Arkansas. As of August 2006, the tower was tied with 15 other 2000-foot masts, all built after it, as the fifth-tallest structure in the world.

Mabelvale was a small, unincorporated train station town in southwestern Pulaski County, Arkansas, until being annexed into Little Rock following a special election that was held on May 3, 1973. The area today is part of Little Rock's seventh ward, although it retains a separate postal designation and ZIP code [72103] from most of the rest of the city. The neighborhood is currently represented on Little Rock's City Board of Directors by Brenda "B.J." Wyrick.

Riverdale is a river valley neighbourhood located just east of the downtown core in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Riverdale shares the approaches to the Low Level Bridge with a third river valley neighbourhood, Rossdale. To the north, is the neighbourhood of Boyle Street. Riverdale's boundary with the downtown core runs approximately along Grierson Hill Road.

The Worthen Bank Building is a historic commercial building at 401 Main Street in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story masonry structure with neoclassical and Art Deco lines. It has a steel frame and is faced in limestone. Three bays of three-part windows stand on the second floor, and two flank the center entry. The building was constructed in 1928 for the Worthen Bank, founded in 1877, and was designed by George R. Mann, a prominent local architect otherwise known for his design of the Arkansas State Capitol. Annexes and a parking garage were added in 1952 and 1962, along with some modernization of the 1928 building.

KRTV was a television station on ultra high frequency (UHF) channel 17 in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. The first television station in Arkansas, KRTV operated from April 1953 to March 1954. Its early demise was attributed to economic factors that made it impossible to compete with competing very high frequency (VHF) stations that signed on after KRTV. One of these stations, KATV, purchased KRTV's studio facility and assumed its personnel, a prelude to KATV itself moving to Little Rock in 1958.
