Lokapur is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. [1] [2] It is located in the Mudhol taluk of Bagalkot district and belongs to Belgaum Division in Karnataka.

Mudhol is a city previously known as "'Muduoolalu"' in the Bagalkot District in the Northern part of the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is about 60 km from the district headquarters of Bagalkot and 18 km from its subdivisions jamkhandi It is famous for a breed of dog known as the Mudhol Hound. Mudhol State was ruled by the Ghorpade-Maratha royal family. Ranna is a great poet belongs to Jain Religion born here.
