[1] It has a historic Background yankanchi was ruled by the chalukys of kalyani.and it has the many temples like Ishwar temple, Dawalamalika temple, Basaveshwar temple, Maragamma Temple, Ishwar Temple is said to be built by the chalukys of Kalyani.
