[1] The population of children aged 0–6 was 282, making up 12.51% of the total population of the village. Mahalingpur or Mahalingapura in Kannada is a town of Bagalkot district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Agriculture, weaving and jaggery production are the primary industries here.
