Contra la Corriente is the third studio album released by American singer Marc Anthony on October 21, 1997, by RMM Records. The album was produced by Puerto Rican musician Angel "Cucco" Peña, with most of the songs written by Panamanian composer Omar Alfanno. The album was well received by critics who praised the vocals of Anthony as well as the songs. The album produced six singles, four of which peaked on the top ten on the Hot Latin Tracks chart. Promoted by a sold-out concert in Madison Square Garden, Contra la Corriente became the first salsa album to reach number one on the Top Latin Albums chart and to chart on the Billboard 200.
Vivir is the second Spanish studio album recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias. It was released by Fonovisa on 21 January 1997. The album includes three number-one singles on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks charts in United States: "Enamorado Por Primera Vez", "Sólo En Ti" and "Miente". In the United States, it was platinum on 6 May 1997. This album received a nomination for Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards, on 25 February 1998, losing to Romances by Luis Miguel. The album received a Premio Lo Nuestro award for "Pop Album of the Year" at the 9th Lo Nuestro Awards. To the date the record has sold a million copies in U.S and over 5 million copies worldwide.
"Da la Vuelta" is a song written by Emilio Estefan and Kike Santander and performed by American singer Marc Anthony. Produced by Anthony, Estefan, and Ángel "Cucco" Peña, it is a salsa track which deals with the singer letting go of his former lover. It is one of the three Spanish-language songs to be included on Anthony's 1999 self-titled album and was released as a promotional single in the same year.
Y. is the second studio album released by Spanish singer-songwriter Bebe. Released on June 29, 2009, the album received positive critical reviews, and entered the Spanish Album Chart at number one. It was released after Bebe's four-year hiatus from the music business, following the success of her debut album Pafuera Telarañas. Recorded over a year in Madrid and Cadiz, Spain, Y. includes the Latin Grammy Award-nominated song "Me Fui" and the single "Pa' Mi Casa". The album was produced by Carlos Jean, who also worked with Bebe on her debut album. Bebe wrote all the lyrics, including some dealing with issues such as love, sex and self-respect. Y. received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album and was re-released in December 2009 as a double album edition, which includes the original songs and a separate album with B-sides and collaborations with Lucio Godoy, Luis Pastor, Pedro Guerra and Kultama.
Santo Pecado is the ninth studio album recorded by Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona. It was released by Sony BMG Latin on November 19, 2002 and was produced by Arjona, Carlos Cabral Jr. and Fernando Otero. The album earned nomination for Latin Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Album in the 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards on September 3, 2003, losing by Quizás by Enrique Iglesias.
Gerardo Horacio López von Linden, known professionally as Cachorro López, is an Argentine record producer, musician and songwriter. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he enrolled in various musical ensembles, including Zas and Los Abuelos de la Nada. López has worked with several artists producing their albums, including Caifanes, Stephanie Salas, Andrés Calamaro, Paulina Rubio, Diego Torres and Miranda!. López also was the executive producer of the tribute album for the English band Queen in 1997. His work has been recognized with two Latin Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year in 2006 and 2009, out of four consecutive nominations, and a Grammy Award for producing Limón y Sal by Julieta Venegas.

Hasta la Raíz is the fifth studio album by Mexican recording artist Natalia Lafourcade, released on March 17, 2015, through Sony Music Mexico. After the success of her previous album, Mujer Divina – Homenaje a Agustín Lara, a tribute to Mexican singer-songwriter Agustín Lara, Lafourcade decided to record an album with original recordings. Lafourcade spent three years writing the songs and searching for inspiration in different cities, resulting in songs that express very personal feelings regarding love. The record was produced by Lafourcade, with the assistance of Argentinian musician Cachorro López and Mexican artist Leonel García.

Roberto Delgado & Orquesta is a Panamanian salsa orchestra based in Panama City. The band leader is Roberto Delgado. The band has released five studio albums and since the release of the album La Rosa de los Vientos (1996) by singer-songwriter Rubén Blades, the ensemble became his backing band for most of his projects. Following albums included Son de Panamá (2015), which was awarded the Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album and the Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album, and Salsa Big Band (2017), which was awarded the Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album and Album of the Year, and the Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album.

Tras La Tormenta It is the fifth and last studio album made between the American singer Willie Colón and the Panamian Songwriter Rubén Blades. It was released on January 31, 1995, through Sony Tropical, Epic Records and Columbia Records. Recorded at Acme Recordings Studios, being the last great collaboration that the two artists did. It had four singles, "Talento De Televisión", "Homenaje A Héctor Lavoe", "Tras La Tormenta" and "Como Un Huracán", being the first mentioned the most awarded of the album.
Corazón Guerrero is the third studio album by Willie Colón, originally released on May 9, 1982. And later released in August 1982, by Fania Records. It is often considered the first Latin pop album due to the mix of harmonic rhythms that Colón used in the recordings with the violins and the saxophones. The song that most highlights this is "Casanova" which contains characteristics of modern Latin pop. On this album, Willie Colón does not skimp on excellent musicians, especially on trombone, percussion and voice.
SALSWING! is the sixth studio album by the Panamian singer Rubén Blades and Roberto Delgado & Orquesta, released on April 16, 2021, through Rubén Blades Productions. It was produced by Roberto Delgado and features songs by Blades like "Paula C" as well as salsa songs and jazz standards such as "Pennies from Heaven" and "The Way You Look Tonight".

It was released on 24 June 2013 through Sony Music Latin and Top Stop Music. It has the participation of artists with whom George recorded and produced albums in the past such as Tito Nieves, Marc Anthony, Oscar D'León, Luis Enrique, and Orquesta de la Luz among others.
