Lucas Avenue Industrial Historic District is an American historic district bounded by Washington, Delmar, 20th & 21 Streets, St. Louis, Missouri. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. A boundary increase, roughly bounded by Locust St., Delmar, and 19th and 20th Sts. was added in 2007. Included in the boundary increase are a warehouse, a manufacturing facility and a communications facility. [2] [3]

The Washington Avenue Historic District is located in Downtown West, St. Louis, Missouri along Washington Avenue, and bounded by Delmar Boulevard to the north, Locust Street to the south, 8th Street on the east, and 18th Street on the west. The buildings date from the late 19th century to the early 1920s. They exhibit a variety of popular architectural styles of those years, but most are revival styles or in the commercial style that would later come to be known as the Chicago School of architecture. Most are large multi-story buildings of brick and stone construction, built as warehouses for the St. Louis garment district. Many have terra cotta accents on their facades. After World War II, the decline in domestic garment production and the preference for single-story industrial space led to many of the buildings being vacant or underused due to functional obsolescence.

Skinker DeBaliviere is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, located directly north of Forest Park. In addition to the park, its boundaries are Delmar Boulevard to the north, DeBaliviere Avenue to the east, and the western city limits near Skinker Boulevard. It is home to The Pageant, Pin-up Bowl, and all the other establishments of the Delmar Loop east of University City. It also includes the west end of the Forest Park – DeBaliviere and the entire Skinker MetroLink stations. The Delmar Loop station is just outside of its north boundary. The district encompasses more than 150 one and two story frame, brick, cast-stone, or stone dwellings in a thirteen block area.
