Mexico, formerly known as New Mexico, is a city in and the county seat of Audrain County, Missouri. It is home to the Missouri Military Academy and annually hosts the Miss Missouri Pageant. The city's population was 11,469 at the 2020 census. The micropolitan statistical area consists of Audrain County. It is a part of the Columbia, Missouri metropolitan area.

Patrick Charles Keely was an Irish-American architect based in Brooklyn, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island. He was a prolific designer of nearly 600 churches and hundreds of other institutional buildings for the Roman Catholic Church or Roman Catholic patrons in the eastern United States and Canada, particularly in New York City, Boston and Chicago in the later half of the 19th century. He designed every 19th-century Catholic cathedral in New England. Several other church and institutional architects began their careers in his firm.
SS Milwaukee Clipper, also known as SS Clipper, and formerly as SS Juniata, is a retired passenger ship and automobile ferry that sailed under two configurations and traveled on all of the Great Lakes except Lake Ontario. The vessel is now docked in Muskegon, Michigan.

Built in 1914, it later served as the headquarters of the Western Auto Supply Company and became known by that association, especially when the company put a multi-story lighted sign on top of the building.
Preston J. Bradshaw (1884–1952) was one of the most eminent architects of St. Louis, Missouri, during the 1920s. Among his numerous commissions as an architect, he is best known for designing hotels and automobile dealerships in the region. Like many hotel architects of his time, he eventually moved into the actual operation of hotels, becoming owner and operator of the Coronado Hotel in St. Louis.
The Auto Freight Transport Building of Oregon and Washington, also known as East Side Terminal and Eastbank Commerce Center, in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon is a four-story commercial structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1924, it was added to the register in 2005.
The Wheeler–Schebler Carburetor Company was one of the Indianapolis's most important auto parts manufacturers and the last automobile parts factories in Indianapolis, Indiana to survive from the first decades of the 20th century. The Wheeler–Schebler Carburetor Company Building was the company's original building at the Barth Avenue site. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
The McHaffey Opera House is an historic building located in Eldon, Iowa, United States. It was constructed in 1891 and in use by the community through the 1940s. The building was mainly unused for many decades until a volunteer community group bought the opera house in 1995 and began restoration efforts. The McHaffey Opera House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in November, 1995.

The Security Building, also known as the Stampfer Building, is a historic structure in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. The cream-colored building is associated with the J. F. Stampfer Co. department store.
The Apperson Iowa Motor Car Company Building, also known as the Garage Building for Rawson Brothers, is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It is significant for its association with the prominent Des Moines architectural firm that designed it, Proudfoot, Bird & Rawson. Completed in 1921, it was designed and built within the period of time the firm was at its most prolific (1910-1925). It is also significant for its association with the rise of the Automobile Industry in the city. Auto dealerships and distributorships leased the building from 1921 to 1951. Architect Harry D. Rawson and his brothers owned the building from 1921 to 1938. The two-story structure is located on a midblock lot in the midst of what was the automobile sales, service, and manufacturing district on the western edge of the downtown area. The first floor housed a showroom in the front with offices on a mezzanine. The back of the first floor and the second floor was used for assembling and servicing automobiles. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
The 1901 McGee Street Automotive Service Building, located at 1901 McGee St. in Kansas City, Missouri, was built in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
The Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant is a historic former automobile assembly plant in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Located along a stretch of Baum Boulevard nicknamed "Automobile Row" due to its high concentration of auto-related businesses, the plant was built in 1915 by Ford Motor Company to assemble Ford Model T cars using the company's pioneering mass production processes. It was designed by Ford's corporate architect John H. Graham, Sr. and constructed from reinforced concrete. The plant consists of an eight-story main building which contained the assembly areas and a vehicle showroom, and a six-story crane shed which was used to hoist parts unloaded from the adjacent Pennsylvania Railroad tracks to the appropriate level for assembly. Due to the steeply sloping site, the building has only five stories above grade along the street elevations.
The McKee Button Company is a historic building in Muscatine, Iowa, United States. The city was known as the Pearl Button Capital of the World because of the numerous firms that produced the buttons here through the 1960s. The Peerless Button Company was established by James McKee and his brother-in-law William Bliven in 1895. Two years later the company's name was changed to the McKee and Bliven Button Company. They built this building in 1907. The company has been known as the McKee Button Company since 1925. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
