700 Market is a six-story office building located at 700 Market Street in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Spire, Inc. is the sole tenant of the building, using it for its corporate headquarters.
The building was previously the General American Life Insurance Company National Headquarters, located on 706 Market St., and is on the National Register of Historic Places. [1] It is LEED Gold Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. [2]
Originally known as the GenAm Building, 700 Market was designed in the 1970s by architect Philip Johnson, as headquarters for the General American Life Insurance Company (later absorbed into MetLife).
GenAm relocated in 2004 and the building remained vacant until redevelopment began in April 2014.
The building was purchased by Centaur Properties of New York in 2005 for $6.5 million. Centaur claimed to have a $10 million renovation plan in place in 2010 to help attract potential tenants, however the investment never occurred. [3] The Koman Group bought the building in January 2014 from Centaur for $11.5 million and began a full redevelopment of the building three months later. Upon completion of the redevelopment in 2015, the building was renamed 700 Market and Spire, Inc moved into the building on a 20-year lease. [4]

The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower is a skyscraper occupying a full block in the Flatiron District of Manhattan in New York City. The building is composed of two sections: a 700-foot-tall (210 m) tower at the northwest corner of the block, at Madison Avenue and 24th Street, and a shorter east wing occupying the remainder of the block bounded by Madison Avenue, Park Avenue South, 23rd Street, and 24th Street. The South Building, along with the North Building directly across 24th Street, comprises the Metropolitan Home Office Complex, which originally served as the headquarters of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
The Sterick Building is a historic skyscraper in Memphis, Tennessee. It was designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick & Co., and was completed in 1929—its name is a portmanteau of the original owners' names, Texas Governor Ross S. Sterling and Wyatt C. Hedrick. It is a gothic-style tower, 111 m (365 ft) tall with 31 floors, two of which are below grade. When it opened it 1929 it was noted as the tallest building in the American South and remained so until 1957. It stands at the corner of Madison Avenue and North B.B. King Boulevard.

100 Pine Center is a class-A office building at the northwest corner of Pine Street and Front Street in San Francisco's Financial District. The building is 145 m (476 ft) with 33 floors, and 402,500 sq ft (37,000 m2) of rentable office space, a 150-car garage including 30 valet parking spaces.
Centre Square is an office complex in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The complex consists of two concrete high-rise towers: the 417 feet (127 m) Centre Square I, also known as Centre Square East, and the 490 feet (150 m) Centre Square II represent the 24th and 15th-tallest buildings in Philadelphia, respectively. Designed by Vincent Kling & Associates in the 1960s, Centre Square opened in 1973. The Hillsboro Civic Center is a government-built, mixed-use development in downtown Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. The development includes the city hall for the county seat of Washington County, located west of Portland, Oregon. Covering 6 acres (24,000 m2), the Civic Center has a total of over 165,000 square feet (15,300 m2) in the complex. The total of six stories for the main structure makes the building the tallest in the city, tied with Tuality Community Hospital. In addition to government offices, the Civic Center includes retail space, public plazas, and residential housing. The complex was built to centralize city government functions under one roof.

The Millennium Hotel St. Louis, more commonly known simply as the Millennium Hotel, is a defunct hotel complex in downtown St. Louis, Missouri that closed in 2014. The lower complex consisted of a plaza and several recreational facilities. Two towers, Millennium Hotel Tower I and Millennium Hotel Tower II, made up the hotel space. Tower I is 28 stories tall and was constructed in 1968. Tower II is 11 stories tall and was constructed in 1974. The building is adjacent to the Gateway Arch. The hotel had 780 rooms and 19 suites. It also featured a revolving restaurant called "Top of the Riverfront" on the 28th floor of Tower I.
Leadership Square is a mixed-use office tower complex in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. The complex was completed in 1984 and comprises One Leadership Square and Two Leadership Square. One Leadership Square is taller at 285 feet (87 m) and 22 stories. Two Leadership Square is 224 feet (68 m) and 16 stories. They are the 10th and 19th tallest buildings in Oklahoma City, respectively.

Eighth & Main is an 18-story high-rise building in the western United States, located in Boise, Idaho. The tallest building in the state at 323 feet (98 m), it houses the Idaho headquarters of Zions Bank, as well as Holland & Hart and other companies. Construction was completed in early 2014, and a grand opening celebration was held on February 15. The location, formerly known as "the pit" and the "Boise Hole", had sat vacant since 1987.
