Ludas is 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) both from Road 3 and the Budapest-Miskolc railway line. The M3 motorway, built in 1998, bypasses the settlement at a distance of 3 kilometres (2 mi) and has reduced traffic congestion.

The Type 051 destroyer was a class of guided missile destroyers based on the hull of the Soviet Neustrashimy-class destroyer deployed by China. The Onega Bay is located in the Republic of Karelia and Arkhangelsk Oblast in Northwestern Russia, west of the city of Arkhangelsk. It is the southernmost of four large bays and gulfs of the White Sea, the others being the Dvina Bay, the Mezen Bay, and the Kandalaksha Gulf. The area of the bay is 6,630 square kilometres (2,560 sq mi). The Onega Bay is 185 kilometres (115 mi) long and 50 kilometres (31 mi)-100 kilometres (62 mi) wide. The average depth of the bay is 16 metres (52 ft), and the maximum depth is 36 metres (118 ft). The bay freezes in winter.

Mattie the Goose-boy, or Lúdas Matyi, is a Hungarian epic poem written by Mihály Fazekas (1766–1828) in 1804 and first released in 1817. It is based on a folk-tale of unknown origins. Most film adaptations place the story to the beginning of the 19th century, however based on hints in the poem, as well as the word "ludas" also being used to depict someone suspected of a crime already in the Tripartitum, the original story can be placed at least to the early 16th century.

Ludaš or Ludoš Lake is a shallow lake in the province of Vojvodina in northern Serbia, near the city of Subotica.
