Lusiwe Daureen Ngubane is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature since 2019. She was elected to the provincial legislature in the 2019 general election, ranked 47th on the ANC's provincial party list. [1] She is a member of the ANC's Inkosi Bhambatha branch in Umzinyathi, where she formerly served on the Regional Executive Committee. [2]
Bongiwe Nomusa Sithole-Moloi (née Sithole) has served as KwaZulu-Natal's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs since February 2023. She has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature since 2014 and in the KwaZulu-Natal Executive Council since 2016: she was formerly the MEC for Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation from 2016 to 2019 and MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development from 2019 to 2023. She gained political prominence as the Mayor of Umgungundlovu District Municipality from 2000 to 2008; she was removed from that position in a vote of no-confidence supported by her own party.

Lungi Mnganga-Gcabashe is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2014 to 2019. In 2020 she was appointed chief of staff in the office of Pemmy Majodina, the Chief Whip of the Majority Party in the National Assembly. She was the legislature's Speaker from 2013 to 2019 and previously served in the KwaZulu-Natal Executive Council between 2006 and 2011: she was KwaZulu-Natal's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Public Works from 2006 to 2009 and MEC for Agriculture, Environmental Affairs and Rural Development from 2009 to 2011. In June 2022, she was appointed board chairperson at Ezemvelo.
Ndawoyakhe Wilson Ngcobo is a South African politician who served in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature from 1999 to 2006 and from 2009 to 2014. In the interim, he served briefly in the National Assembly from 2006 to 2009. He was a member of the Democratic Party (DP), later the Democratic Alliance (DA), until September 2005, when he crossed the floor to join the African National Congress (ANC). In 2015, he left the ANC to establish the National Religious Freedom Party, a KwaZulu-Natal-based party of which Ngcobo is president.
Phumzile Bhengu-Kombe is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2004 to 2019. She was first elected in the 2004 general election, representing the KwaZulu-Natal constituency, and gained re-election in 2009 and 2014. In the 2019 general election, she was ranked 68th on the ANC's provincial party list for the ANC and failed to gain election to a fourth term.
Happy Mamlili Blose is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature nearly continuously between 1994 and 2019. She also served a brief term in the National Assembly from 2004 to 2006. She rose to prominence during apartheid as a leader of the women's movement in the Natal Midlands, where she chaired the regional branch of the ANC Women's League in the mid-1990s.
