Lyndia is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. It contains only one species, Lyndia cannarum, which is found in Egypt.

Gunnison Island

Gunnison Island is located in the northwest quadrant of the Great Salt Lake in Box Elder County, Utah, United States, approximately 55 miles (89 km) northwest of Salt Lake City and about 6 miles (9.7 km) east from the lake's western shore. Approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) long and 0.5 miles (0.80 km) wide, Gunnison Island is best known as an important rookery for the American white pelican. The California gull also nests on the island, and occasional nesters include the great blue heron, common raven, prairie falcon, and rock wren.

Crambinae is a large subfamily of the lepidopteran family Crambidae, the crambid snout moths. It currently includes over 1,800 species worldwide. The larvae are root feeders or stem borers, mostly on grasses. A few species are pests of sod grasses, maize, sugar cane, rice, and other Poaceae. The monophyly of this group is supported by the structure of the tympanal organs and the phallus attached medially to the juxta.

He was a grandson of Turunianchi, who was the leader when the Timpanogos first contacted the Europeans during the Dominguez–Escalante Expedition. Turunianchi's grandsons made up the royal line of "brothers" referred to by Brigham Young. Tabby-To-Kwanah means "Child of the Sun." Tabiona, Utah is named after him.

York Public Library United States historic place

The York Public Library is a historic building in York, Nebraska. It was built in 1901-1902 thanks to a donation from York resident Lyndia Woods. It was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by architect Morrison H. Vail. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 4, 1990.
