MAX Orange, also known as Route 303 or the North Crosstown BRT, [1] is a bus rapid transit line in Calgary, Alberta. Part of Calgary Transit's MAX network, it largely travels east-west along 16 Avenue N and north-south along 52 Street NE. It connects CTrain stations on the Red and Blue lines to the northwest and northeast quadrants of Calgary. [2]
MAX Orange begins in the northwest at Brentwood station on the Red Line, travelling west to the Alberta Children's Hospital and Foothills Medical Centre. From Foothills Medical Centre, MAX Orange travels east along 16 Avenue N before turning north along 36 Street NE to Rundle station on the Blue Line. MAX Orange then travels east along 32 Avenue NE and north along 52 Street NE to Saddletowne station, the terminus of the Blue Line and MAX Orange. [3]

The Orange Line is a rapid transit line of the Washington Metro system, consisting of 26 stations in Fairfax County and Arlington in Northern Virginia; Washington, D.C.; and Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The Orange Line runs from Vienna in Virginia to New Carrollton in Maryland. Half of the line's stations are shared with the Blue Line and over two thirds are shared with the Silver Line. Orange Line service began on November 20, 1978.

Lions Park Station is a Calgary C-Train light rail station in Hounsfield Heights-Briar Hill, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Opened on September 7, 1987 as part of the original Northwest Line. It is located on the exclusive LRT right of way on the south side of 14 Avenue NW, just east of 19 Street NW. Two side-loading platforms with ramp access from grade level as well as pedestrian crossings are located at both ends of the station. The station is located adjacent to the Mall Entrance 5 of the North Hill Centre shopping mall, and is less than 1 kilometre away from the campus of SAIT.
Whitehorn Station is a light rail station on the CTrain network of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located in the city's Northeast community of Whitehorn, the station serves the Northeast leg of the Blue Line. The station opened on April 27, 1985, as part of the original Route 202, and was the terminus of the line until a later extension to: McKnight-Westwinds, in December 2007.

It is the sixth station northeast of City Hall on the Blue Line, with Marlborough Station sitting in the southbound direction, and Whitehorn Station sitting in the northbound direction. 16 Avenue N is a major road in Calgary, Alberta, that forms a 26.5-kilometre (16.5 mi) segment of Highway 1 and connects Calgary to Banff and Medicine Hat. It is a four to six-lane principal arterial expressway at its extremities, but is an urban arterial road between the Bow River and Bowness Road, and also between Crowchild Trail and Deerfoot Trail. Due to Calgary's quadrant system, it is known as 16 Avenue NW west of Centre Street and 16 Avenue NE to the east.

Following its initial approval in 1976, the Red Line opened in 1981, with the first trains running on what is now the Blue Line in 1985.
The Red Line, also known as Route 201, is a light rail transit (LRT) line in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Partnered with the Blue Line, and future Green Line it makes up Calgary's CTrain network. Following its initial approval in 1976, the Red Line opened in 1981, running from Anderson station in the southeast into downtown. The Red Line has gone through a series of expansions, which bring it to its current design. The Red Line services the northwest quadrant and south end of the city beginning at Tuscany station, runs through the downtown core on 7th Avenue, then proceeds southbound where it terminates at Somerset–Bridlewood station. The section of track running along 7th Avenue is shared with the Blue Line. Future expansion of the Red Line includes rerouting the downtown section below 8th Avenue, which would allow the operation of five-car trains, further increasing capacity.

16 Avenue North is a planned and approved CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada part of the Green Line. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and complete in 2027 as part of construction stage one, phase two. The station serves as the northern terminus station for stage one of construction and is expected to be one of the busiest stations on opening day. It will serve as a transfer point between the Green Line and MAX Orange BRT, connecting riders to the city's northwest, northeast, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, the University of Calgary, the Foothills Medical Centre, the Alberta Children's Hospital and future Calgary Cancer Centre.
