Maharashtra State Election Commission is an independent agency of Government of Maharashtra established on 26 April 1994. It conducts rural and urban local body elections in the state of Maharashtra. [1] gjfghb>4687<4231>

The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of Maharashtra state in western India. It consists of 288 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai, though the winter session is held in Nagpur. Along with the Maharashtra Legislative Council, it comprises the legislature of Maharashtra. The presiding officer of the Assembly is the Speaker. Members of the Assembly are directly elected by the people of Maharashtra through elections held every five years, unless the Assembly is dissolved earlier. The current Assembly was elected in October 2019.

Sangola is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra state, western India. This constituency is located in Solapur district. Before the formation of Maharashtra as a separate state, the Sangola Assembly Constituency was part of the Bombay State during the early years of the Indian Republic.It was a reserved constituency for the 1951 and 1957 Bombay State elections. The constituency is not a reserved constituency. It is a part of Madha Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha constituencies, namely Madha, Karmala and Malshiras in Solapur district and Phaltan and Man in Satara district.

Balmohan Vidyamandir was founded on 3 June 1940 by Late Shri. S.D.Rege alias "Dada" as he was fondly known amongst his students, parents and the community, was a teacher par excellence. The School was named "Balmohan Vidyamandir". "Balmohan" being coined from the names of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and "Vidyamandir" meaning a temple of learning. Today, the name "Balmohan Vidyamandir" is synonymous with being the leading cultural and educational hub of the State of Maharashtra, India.

Chinchpokli Assembly constituency was one of the 288 assembly constituencies of Maharashtra a western state of India. Chinchpokli was also part of Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency. Chinchpokli existed till 2004 elections until Byculla Assembly constituency was formed in 2008.

The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis.
