The Ministry of Minority Development and Aukaf is a Ministry of the Government of Maharashtra. which include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains notified as minority communities in The Gazette of India under Section 2(c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992. for the development of Maharashtra state.

Later, the Supreme Court of India gave him clean chit in that case.

Fouzia Khan or Fauzia Tahseen Khan, also known as Fauzia Khan, is an Indian politician of the Nationalist Congress Party. She is a member of the Rajya Sabha the upper house of Indian Parliament from Maharashtra. She is the National president of Nationalist Mahila Congress, an Ex-Minister of State of Government of Maharashtra in India. Convent-educated Khan is the first Muslim woman in the state who has served as minister in the Maharashtra government.
