Mal Khast (Persian : مال خاست‎, also Romanized as Māl Khāst; also known as Malkhas and Mālkhvāst)^[1] is a village in Poshtkuh Rural District, Chahardangeh District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 332, in 81 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Poshtkuh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Chahardangeh District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,885, in 971 families. The rural district has 15 villages.

Chahardangeh District is a district (bakhsh) in Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19,969, in 5,149 families. The District has one city: Kiasar. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Chahardangeh Rural District, Garmab Rural District, and Poshtkuh Rural District.
