Vastan (Persian : واستان‎, also Romanized as Vāstān)^[1] is a village in Tangeh Soleyman Rural District, Kolijan Rostaq District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 120, in 39 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Tangeh Soleyman Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Kolijan Rostaq District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,600, in 1,164 families. The rural district has 24 villages.

Kolijan Rostaq District is a district (bakhsh) in Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,143, in 3,809 families. The District has one city Pain Hular. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Kolijan Rostaq-e Olya Rural District and Tangeh Soleyman Rural District.
