Valuyeh-ye Olya (Persian : ولويه عليا‎, also Romanized as Valūyeh-ye ‘Olyā; also known as Valūyeh-ye Bālā)^[1] is a village in Poshtkuh Rural District, Chahardangeh District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 114, in 28 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Poshtkuh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Chahardangeh District, Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,885, in 971 families. The rural district has 15 villages.

Chahardangeh District is a district (bakhsh) in Sari County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19,969, in 5,149 families. The District has one city: Kiasar.
