Namma Metro, also known as Bengaluru Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, the capital city of the state of Karnataka, India. It is the second-longest operational metro network in India with an operational length of 76.95 kilometers, behind Delhi Metro. Upon its inauguration in 2011, it became the first underground metro system in South India. Namma Metro has a mix of underground, at grade, and elevated stations. Out of the 68 operational metro stations of Namma Metro as of November 2024, there are 59 elevated stations, eight underground stations and one at-grade station. The system runs on standard-gauge tracks.
The Bengaluru Suburban Railway is an under-construction suburban rail network for the city of Bengaluru in Karnataka. Since the first proposal in 1983, several others were made but to no avail until a revised proposal of length 161 km (100 mi) was approved in the 2019 Railway Budget. The network is set to have four lines in total with two of them planned to open by December 2026.

Green Line is mostly elevated, with 26 elevated and 3 underground stations. The Line passes through Majestic station which is an interchange station between Green and Purple Lines.
The Purple Line is a part of the Namma Metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As of 2023, the line is 43.49 km (27.02 mi) long and spans 37 stations from Challaghatta in the southwest to Whitefield (Kadugodi) to the east. The Purple Line is mostly elevated, with 31 elevated stations, 5 underground stations and 1 at-grade station. The Line passes through many prime activity centers of the city including Whitefield, Krishnarajapura, MG Road, Vidhana Soudha, Vijayanagar, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Kengeri. Majestic station, is an interchange station between Purple and Green Lines. Phase I of the Purple Line was the first underground metro section in South India.
Nagasandra is a elevated metro station on the North-South corridor of the Green Line of Namma Metro serving the Bagalakunte area in Bengaluru, India. It was opened to the public on 1 May 2015. A foot overbridge connecting Nagasandra metro station to IKEA store was inaugurated on 18 October 2023.
Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road is an elevated interchange metro station on the North-South corridor of the Green Line and the East-West corridor of the upcoming Yellow Line of Namma Metro serving the 5th and 8th Block of Jayanagar area of Bangalore, India. It was opened to the public on 18 June 2017.
The Yellow Line of Namma Metro is a nearly-completed part of the metro rail network of Bengaluru, India. The 18.82 km (11.69 mi)-long line connects R.V. Road with Bommasandra, and is fully elevated with 16 stations. R.V. Road station is the terminal station within the city, with an interchange with the Green Line. Jayadeva Hospital station will serve as another elevated interchange station with the Pink Line, which is under construction. Upon its opening, Jayadeva Hospital station will emerge as the tallest and largest metro station in Bengaluru, with five levels of transport, including the metro lines. Central Silk Board station will be another interchange, between the Yellow and Blue Lines. The other end of the Yellow Line will terminate at Bommasandra.
The Red Line or Hebbal-Sarjapura Line is a proposed metro rail line that will become part of Namma Metro's network in the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Phase-3A of Namma Metro has been planned to become operational around the year 2030.

Challaghatta is the elevated western terminal metro station on the East-West corridor of the Purple Line of Namma Metro in the Bengaluru border, India. It is on a 2.05 km extension from Kengeri metro station. Alongside the station passes the main Bengaluru - Mysuru NH 275 Expressway which leads towards the cities of Mysore and Mangalore. Trial runs on the new Kengeri - Challaghatta section of the line commenced on 29 July 2023. The station was opened and scheduled services commenced on 9 October 2023. No inauguration ceremony was held, but the new section of line was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on 20 October 2023.
