Lyon Village is a neighborhood and urban village in Arlington County, Virginia, along Langston Boulevard. It adjoins Arlington County's government center, and is approximately one mile west of Rosslyn and less than a mile north of Clarendon, of which it is sometimes considered a sub-neighborhood, as is Cherrydale, the mostly residential district immediately west of Lyon Village.

It includes several properties listed separately in the National Register of Historic Places, including the Abbeville County Courthouse and the Abbeville Opera House. The district was listed in National Register on September 14, 1972.
The Downtown Commercial Historic District in Muscatine, Iowa is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. At that time, it included 93 contributing buildings, one other contributing object, and 18 non-contributing buildings. The city of Muscatine was established as Bloomington in 1836. The original town was built on land that is generally flat along the Mississippi River. Residential areas were located on the surrounding hills. Commercial and industrial interests developed on the flatter land near the river. Muscatine's commercial and industrial center had developed in a 12-block area along Front Street, now Mississippi Drive, and 2nd Street between Pine Street and Mulberry Street by 1874. This area, represented by the Downtown Commercial Historic District, is the city's original commercial area. Within its boundaries is a large number of 19th-century commercial buildings, many of which were modified in the first half of the 20th century.
The Hartford City Courthouse Square Historic District is located in Hartford City, Indiana. Hartford City has a population of about 7,000 and is the county seat of Blackford County and the site of the county courthouse. The National Park Service of the United States Department of the Interior added the Hartford City Courthouse Square Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places on June 21, 2006—meaning the buildings and objects that contribute to the continuity of the district are worthy of preservation because of their historical and architectural significance. The District has over 60 resources, including over 40 contributing buildings, over 10 non-contributing buildings, one contributing object, eight non-contributing objects, and two other buildings that are listed separately in the National Register.
The Randolph County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Asheboro, Randolph County, North Carolina. It was designed by Wheeler, Runge & Dickey and built in 1908–1909. It is a three-story, Classical Revival-style yellow brick building with a hipped roof. It features a powerful Second Empire dome clad in ribbed tile and front portico. The listing included three contributing buildings on 3.1 acres (1.3 ha). The two other contributing buildings are an early-20th century jail and late Victorian brick building containing law offices.

The district includes a variety of commercial and governmental buildings including the Stuart Post Office constructed by the Public Works Administration in 1940, the Patrick County Bank (1911), Bank of Stuart (1896), Stuart United Methodist Church and the Stuart Baptist Church. The district includes one and two-story brick commercial buildings dating from the early to mid 20th century including the Stuart Drug Store (1938) and the Hudson's Drug Store (1941). Located in the district and separately listed is the Patrick County Courthouse.

The district encompasses 161 contributing buildings, 1 contributing structure, and 2 contributing objects in the central business district of Harrisonburg. The district includes a variety of commercial, residential, institutional, and governmental buildings dating from the late-18th to mid-20th century. There are notable examples of the Queen Anne and Greek Revival styles.
Mullins Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Mullins, Marion County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 38 contributing buildings in the central business district of Mullins. It includes an intact collection of late 19th and early 20th century commercial and other public buildings. The buildings illustrate the growth and development of Mullins from its beginnings as a railroad town to its prominence as the leading tobacco market in South Carolina for most of the 20th century. The buildings were constructed between 1895 and about 1945, and represent stylistic influences ranging from late Victorian period examples displaying elaborate brick-corbeled cornices and pediments to the more simplified and minimalist Depression-era examples with typical low relief detailing and vertical piers. Notable buildings include the Old Martin Hospital (1937), Vaughan Hotel (1921), Mullins Library (1941), Old Mullins Post Office, Bank of Mullins / Anderson Brothers Bank, and Mullins Depot (1901). Located in the district are the separately listed Old Brick Warehouse and J.C. Teasley House.
Gaffney Commercial Historic District national historic district located at Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 41 contributing building in the central business district of Gaffney. Most of the buildings were built after 1900 and before 1930 and are primarily commercial buildings in vernacular commercial interpretations of the Italianate, Romanesque Revival, Renaissance Revival, Art Deco, and Neoclassical styles. All of the buildings are of brick construction and vary from one to four stories in height. The downtown area, which continues to be a center of Gaffney commerce, retains much of its early 20th century character.
James Building, also known as Summerton Hardware and Summerton Hardware Company, is a historic commercial building located at Summerton, Clarendon County, South Carolina. It was built in 1905, and is a two-story brick building with a cast-iron storefront. The building has two storefronts and interior spaces with single-story sections to the rear. The building housed the telephone exchange and a hardware store and would have been a central focus of the town in the early-20th century.

The district encompasses 21 contributing commercial buildings in the central business district of Darlington, and built between about 1870 and 1935. The one, two, and three-part commercial buildings exhibit typical turn-of-the-20th century building styles, with brick detailing and, in some cases, cast-iron storefronts. Notable buildings include the Hill Building, Coggeshall Building, McLellan's Dept. Store, Wolfram Building, Jewel's Deluxe Cafe, Coleman Building, Manne Building, "The Darlington News" Building, and Bank of Darlington.
Oaklyn Plantation is a historic plantation and national historic district located near Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 40 contributing buildings, 6 contributing sites, 2 contributing structures, and contributing object. Founded as a forced-labor farm worked by black people enslaved by the land's white owners, it was one of the major plantation establishments of the county and served as the seat of the Williamson family for more than 200 years.

The majority of the buildings in the district were constructed soon after a fire destroyed the town in 1911; the architectural styles reflect common styles in commercial buildings around the Southern United States at the beginning of the 20th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, and the boundaries of the district were increased in 2014.

The Rochester Commercial and Industrial District encompasses the civic, commercial, and industrial heart of Rochester, New Hampshire. Oriented around the city's Central Square, the 6-acre (2.4 ha) district includes the city's major civic buildings, most of which are Classical Revival structures from the early 20th century, a number of commercial buildings dating as far back as the square's formation in the 1820s, and several late 19th-century industrial facilities. The district extends primarily along Main Street, from Bridge and Union Streets to Winter and Academy Streets, and includes properties extending along Wakefield and Hanson Streets, as well as other adjacent streets. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Transylvania County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina. It was built in 1873, and is a two-story, "T"-plan Italianate-style brick building with a hipped roof. It has a rear addition built in the early-20th century. The front facade features a projecting three-story tower topped by a concave mansard roof.
