Maples Mill is an unincorporated community in Fulton County, Illinois, United States. Maples Mill is located on Illinois Route 78 south of Dunfermline.

The Ray Norbut State Fish and Wildlife Area is a 1,140-acre (460 ha) state park located near Griggsville in Pike County, Illinois. It borders on the Illinois River and is primarily made of steeply sloped bluffland that is part of the river's valley. Heavily wooded, this region is managed for whitetail deer hunting. The Ray Norbut complex also includes Big Blue Island, a 100-acre (40 ha) riparian island in the Illinois River. The park is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR).

The Fabyan Windmill is an authentic, working Dutch windmill dating from the 1850s located in Geneva, Kane County, Illinois, just north of Batavia, Illinois, off Illinois Route 25. The five-story wooden smock mill with a stage, which stands 68 feet (21 m) tall, sits upon the onetime estate of Colonel George Fabyan, but is now part of the Kane County Forest Preserve District.
Henry Mittlestadt (1911–1987), best known by his ring name, Tiny Mills, was a Canadian professional wrestler born in Camrose, Alberta. He often teamed with his brother Al Mills as the tag team Murder Incorporated. Later on Stan "Krusher" Kowalski would replace Al Mills as part of Murder Incorporated.
The Maple Mill was a cotton spinning mill in Hathershaw, Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. It was designed as a double mill by the architect Sydney Stott. The first mill was built in 1904 and the second mill in 1915. In 1968, it was equipped with the first open-end spinning machines in England. When spinning ceased in the 1990s, it was bought by Vance Miller. Trading Standards raided the mill in 2006, and ordered Mr Miller stop selling products that failed national safety provisions. Maple Mill No. 2 was the first mill to be partially destroyed by a fire on April 21st, 2009. The fire brigade was in attendance for two weeks and deployed 34 appliances. Later on in 2016, Maple Mill No. 1 was damaged by fire on September 30. On 15 December 2016 a major incident was declared when the same mill became fully ablaze. The land of the two mills has now been cleared fully since 2021, including its chimney, and the site is now going to be housing.
The Wrought Iron Bridge Company was a bridge fabrication and construction company based in Canton, Ohio, United States. It specialized in the fabrication of iron truss bridges and was a prolific bridge builder in the late 19th century. It was one of the 28 firms consolidated by J. P. Morgan into the American Bridge Company in 1900. Many of its bridges have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area (BMCA) is a conservation area located off Stouffville Road in the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville, Regional Municipality of York, Canada. The conservation area is about 108 hectares in size. BMCA is home to a diverse ecosystem, including 1.2 hectares of wetlands and 44 hectares of deciduous, coniferous and mixed forest. It is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).
The Tampico Mounds are a prehistoric archaeological site located in Fulton County, Illinois near the community of Maples Mill. The site contains three circular mounds in a 2.5-acre (1.0 ha) space; while there were originally six mounds at the site, the remainder have been destroyed. It was occupied from roughly 750 to 1000 A.D. during the Late Woodland period and is the type site for the Maples Mills culture. As one of two major Late Woodland sites in the Spoon River vicinity, the site provides evidence of regional practices prior to the influence of the Mississippian culture. It also provides potential insight into Maples Mills cultural burial practices as one of the only known burial mound sites linked to the culture.
