Marathounta (Greek : Μαραθούντα) is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 6 km east of Paphos. Marathounta is located at 323 m above sea level. [2] Marathounta is a small traditional village that brings peace and quiet to its visitors. Although not far from the hectic Paphos with its infrastructures, it manages to maintain a more rural character, at the same time enjoying the privileges of its proximity to the urban center. For those who want to visit the area, there is a tavern with local appetizers, as well as in neighboring Armou, but for further infrastructure facilities there is the city or the more developed Konia, just 5 minutes away by car. Tsada is a relatively big village 8 km North of Paphos city center. Although the proximity between them, the 612 m elevation difference gives to the Tsada area a totally different identity. It receives 610 millimetres (24 in) of precipitation annually. The climate is much cooler all year long and it also is one of the few areas in the Paphos District that snows almost every year by the end of January. Tsada was the home village of EOKA member Evagoras Pallikarides. Although the history of the village can be counted 500 years ago, there is no significant architectural character, and only a few residences were reconstructed in the traditional way. The Melisovouno hill between Tsada and Koili village hosts Paphos television and radio antenna.
Tala is a large suburban village 6 km north of Paphos, Cyprus. Many non-Cypriots have moved here permanently or have a summer home in Tala. Agios Neophytos Monastery is 1 km north. Is located 290 meters above sea level. Tala receives an average annual rainfall of about 520 millimeters; grapevines, citrus fruits, locust, olive, almond, and walnut trees, cereals, forage plants, vegetables, and a few banana trees are cultivated in the region. As far as stockbreeding is concerned, it is limited.
Peristerona(Greek: Περιστερώνα) is a small village located in the Paphos District of Cyprus, 9 km south of Polis. Hidden among the mountains of the area, the settlement of Peristerona Paphou maintains the traditional elements of Cypriot architecture, while there are plenty of those who build their country houses or hotel units in the area, encouraging foreigners and locals to visit the settlement. The village overlooks from above the vast peninsula of Akamas and the dam of Evretos.
Stroumpi or Stroumbi is a small village in central Paphos District, Cyprus, and halfway between Paphos and Polis. The name of the village is said to derive from its founder, a man called "Stroumpos", or the shape of the surrounding hills. The village is known for its annual "Dionysia" wine festival named after Dionysos, the ancient Greek god of wine, that takes place next to central square where the Ayias Sophias church is located at the end of August. A now-defunct "Dionysos" volleyball team was based in Stroumpi and played in the Cypriot top league.
Statos–Agios Fotios is a community consisting of two villages, Statos and Agios Fotios, in the Paphos District of Cyprus. The two are located about 4 km south-south-west of Pano Panagia. As of 2011, their combined population was 243.

Armou is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south-east of Mesogi. It has a panoramic view of Paphos. Armou is located 363m above sea level. The area has been inhabited since pre-Christian times, according to the findings now exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Paphos. The name of the community emerged from its first settler called Armos, while another version speaks of the “armos “ because of its location. A third version refers to the “arma ” of the goddess Aphrodite, which the goddess used in order to visit these places. Due to the village's location and environment, the village has attracted many Cypriot and foreign residents.

It has fantastic climatic conditions and because it’s located by the third biggest spring in Cyprus it’s green all year round.
Philousa Chrysochous is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 12 km southeast of Polis Chrysochous. Is located at 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level. Located next to Lake Evretos, Filousa Chrysochous is adjacent to the village of Tremithousa of Paphos and is one of the small communities of the island, but it has many of the natural beauties of the Cypriot countryside. Specifically, the settlement is built on a green hillside with carob trees, olive and fruit trees, and overlooks from above the villages of the area. The village lies close to Simou, Zacharia and Sarama Village. The two abandoned villages of Evretou and Trimithousa are also nearby. Filousa Village was at one at the centre of 5 surrounding Turkish Cypriot villages in the area.
