Marco Lorenzi (20 June 1993) is an Italian sprinter (400 m).
Born in Trento, he has junior national record of the 400 metres with the time of 46.39. [1] After a few seasons, he returned to a decent international level in 2017 in the indoor season, winning his first senior national title and establishing his Personal Best, which also appeared in the top 60 positions of the 400-meter annual Top List .

Marcello Luigi Fiasconaro is an Italian-South African athlete, who set a world record in the 800 m in 1973.
Andrew Howe is an American-born Italian athlete who specializes in the long jump and sprinting. He won this event as well as the 200 metres at the 2004 World Junior Championships. He was successful at senior level at a young age, winning a long jump bronze at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships before becoming the European Champion later that year. In 2007 he became the European Indoor Champion and won the silver medal at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics.
Kirani James CBE is a Grenadian professional sprinter who specializes in the 200 and 400 metres. He won the 400 m at the World Championships in 2011 and the 2012 London Olympics. In the 400 metres, James also won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, giving him an Olympic medal at every level. He is Grenada's first and only Olympic medalist.

At the World Athletics Championships Miller-Uibo won a silver medal in 2015 and 2019 at the 400 m a bronze in 2017 at the 200 m. In 400m event she holds since October 2019 North, Central American and Caribbean record with a time of 48.36 seconds, which secured her the sixth place at the all-time top list.
Karsten Warholm is a Norwegian athlete and Olympic champion who competes in the sprints and hurdles. In July 2021, he broke the 29-year-old world record in 400 metres hurdles. The following month at the 2020 Summer Olympics, he won the gold medal in the 400 metres hurdles with a time of 45.94 seconds, breaking his own world record by over three-quarters of a second. The race has been described by many as one of the greatest in Olympic history due to the records set and the high class field of competitors. Warholm has also won gold in the event at the World Championships in 2017 and 2019, as well as the 2018 European Championships.
