Margaret Wilson (February 24, 1953) was a judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland in the Trial Division. She served on the court from 1998 until 2014, and became Queen's Counsel in 1992. She is also a graduate of the University of Queensland school of law. [1]

A Queen's Counsel, or King's Counsel during the reign of a king, is an eminent lawyer who is appointed by the monarch to be one of "Her Majesty's Counsel learned in the law." The term is recognised as an honorific. Alma Wilson American judge

Alma Wilson (1917-1999) was an Oklahoma attorney who was appointed as the second female district judge in the state of Oklahoma in 1975. In 1982, she was elevated as the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court of Oklahoma and between 1995 and 1997 was the first woman Chief Justice. Wilson was honored by many awards in her lifetime including induction into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and named Appellate Judge of the Year in both 1986 and 1989.
