Fond du Lac County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 101,633. Its county seat is Fond du Lac. The county was created in the Wisconsin Territory in 1836 and later organized in 1844. Fond du Lac is French for "bottom of the lake", so given because of the county's location at the southern shore of Lake Winnebago.
Nepeuskun, sometimes called Nepeuskin is a town in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 710 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated communities of Koro and Rush Lake are located in the town.

Rosendale is a village in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,063 at the 2010 census. The village is located partially within the Town of Rosendale and partially within the Town of Springvale.
Lake Winnebago is a shallow freshwater lake in the north central United States, located in east central Wisconsin. At 137,700 acres it is the largest lake entirely within the state, covering an area of about 30 miles by 10 miles, with 88 miles of shoreline, an average depth of 15.5 feet, and a maximum depth of 21 feet. It has many shallow reefs along the west shore, and a drop-off type shoreline on the east. There are several islands along the west shore.

Kettle Moraine is a large moraine in the state of Wisconsin, United States. It stretches from Walworth County in the south to Kewaunee County in the north. It has also been referred to as the Kettle Range and, in geological texts, as the Kettle Interlobate Moraine.
The Kettle Moraine State Forest is a state forest in southeastern Wisconsin. The chief feature of the reserve is the Kettle Moraine, a highly glaciated area. The area contains very hilly terrain and glacial landforms, such as kettles, kames and eskers. The 56,000-acre (23,000 ha) forest is divided into two large and three small units, which are spread across a hundred miles.
State Trunk Highway 23 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The route is signed as a north–south route from Shullsburg to Wisconsin Dells and as an east–west route from Wisconsin Dells to Sheboygan. With the exception of freeway segments between Sheboygan Falls and Sheboygan, an expressway segment between Sheboygan Falls and near Greenbush, a freeway concurrency with I-39, and an expressway segment concurrent with U.S. Route 151, the highway is generally either two-lane surface road or urban multilane arterial. Military Ridge Road was a road built by the U.S. Army in 1835, connecting Green Bay, Wisconsin with Fort Crawford via Fond du Lac, Fort Winnebago (Portage), Madison, and Dodgeville. This first military road was a beginning of government planning for overland travel, which eventually led Wisconsin, first as a territory and later as a state, and its localities to finance its own system of roadways for various purposes. Remains of the road that exist today are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Fond du Lac County Fair is an annual county fair that takes place every July in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA. The first Fond du Lac County Fair took place on September 29, 1852 in Rosendale. The Fond du Lac County Fairs' motto is "Education, Entertainment and Affordable Family Fun." Musical acts headlining the 2015 Grandstand include Grand Funk Railroad, Great White & Slaughter, Montgomery Gentry and other family entertainment such as the Fondy Fair 5K Run/Walk on July 18, 2015. Other Grandstand shows include a tractor pull, horse pull, truck pull, BMX stunt show and a demolition derby.
The Fond du Lac State Forest is a state forest in Minnesota, United States, principally managed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The main segment of the forest is located between the towns of Sawyer and Cromwell, in Carlton County. The boundaries of the forest overlap with those of the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation, some state forest land falls within the reservation. The Kettle Lake Wildlife Management Area is located in the southern half of the main segment. A smaller segment is located adjacent to Jay Cooke State Park and the border with Wisconsin in Saint Louis County.
Rush Lake is an unincorporated community located in the town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States. Rush Lake is located at the junction of County Highway E and County Highway V 5.5 miles (8.9 km) north of Ripon. Rush Lake is located to the east of the community, and the Mascoutin Valley State Trail runs through Rush Lake.
Jonathan Daugherty was an American storekeeper from Rosendale, Wisconsin who spent two one-year terms representing Fond du Lac County as a member of the first two Wisconsin State Assemblies, the first as a Whig, the second as a member of the newly organized Free Soil Party.
The Eisenbahn State Trail is a multi-purpose trail designated as a park by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The trail is maintained by the counties through which it transgresses, Washington and Fond du Lac counties. The trail extends 25 miles, from the village of Eden in the north to Rusco Road, south of West Bend. The trail follows the route of the former Fox Valley Railroad.
The Fond du Lac River is a river that flows through the city of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin into Lake Winnebago. The river starts near Rosendale, Lamartine and Eldorado, then flows around 10 miles east. The east and west branches come together in downtown Fond du Lac less than a mile before flowing into Lake Winnebago.
