Matthews Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Matthews, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 10 contributing buildings in the central business district of Matthews. It was developed between 1888 and 1939. Notable buildings include the United States Post Office (1939), Heath and Reid General Store (1888), Funderburk Brothers complex (1890s), and Renfrow Hardware (c. 1900). [2]

Green Level is an unincorporated community in southwestern Wake County, North Carolina, United States. It was founded c. 1800 and is one of the best preserved crossroads communities in the county. Although historically connected to the town of Apex, Green Level now lies within the municipal jurisdiction of the town of Cary.

The Greyhound Bus Depot is a former Greyhound Lines intercity bus station in Columbia, South Carolina. It is at 1200 Blanding Street in downtown Columbia. The depot was named to the National Register of Historic Places on December 28, 1989. After the bus terminal was closed, the building became a bank. Currently, it is a physician's office.

Cape Lookout Village Historic District is a national historic district located near Core Banks, Carteret County, North Carolina. It encompasses 20 contributing buildings 1 contributing site, and 6 contributing structures in Cape Lookout Village. The buildings include notable examples of Queen Anne and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. The district includes two government complexes: the Cape Lookout Lighthouse Station and the Cape Lookout Coast Guard Station. In addition, 14 buildings, a long dock, and the circulation network, as well as the landscape in which these lie, compose the district. Golden Belt Historic District is a national historic district located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. The focus of the district are the Romanesque Revival style buildings associated with the Golden Belt Manufacturing Company plant. Associated with the company are 109 worker's houses built in 1900-1902 and bungalows built in the late 1910s.

Located in the district is the separately listed Jefferson Standard Building. Other notable buildings include the Vanstory Building, Kress Building (1929), Woolworth's, Efrid's Department Store, Montgomery Ward (1936), the Carolina Theatre (1927), Center Theatre (1948), the former Belk Building (1939), Ellis Stone/Thalhimer's Department Store (1949-1950), and the former American Exchange National Bank Building (1920). The Woolworth's store is notable as the site of the Greensboro sit-ins of 1960.
