Mayra Benita Alves Dias (born 28 September 1991) is a Brazilian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Brasil 2018 on 26 May 2018, becoming the second representative from Amazonas. She represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2018, where she finished as a Top 20 semifinalist. Dias was born in Itacoatiara, a city in the interior of the state of Amazonas. She has Indigenous ancestry. [3]

Career

Miss Mundo Amazonas 2015

Dias was crowned Miss Mundo Amazonas 2015 and competed at the Miss Mundo Brasil 2015 in Florianópolis.

Miss Mundo Brasil 2015

Dias will represent Amazonas at the Miss Mundo Brasil 2015 at the Teatro Governador Pedro Ivo in Florianópolis in the state of Santa Catarina but she placed in the Top 20 semifinalist.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2016

Dias was joined and chosen as Brazilian Representative at Reina Hispanoamericana 2016 at the FexpoCruz, Santa Cruz, Bolivia on 5 November 2016 defeating 22 other beauties competing for the title where she ended as the 1st Runner-Up. It was Camila Soleibe from Colombia who eventually won the title Reina Hispanoamericana 2016.

Miss Brasil 2018

Dias representing Amazonas was crowned Miss Brasil 2018 held at the Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro its grand finale on 26 May 2018 where 27 beautiful divas competed for the national title. She succeeded outgoing Miss Brasil 2017 Monalysa Alcântara. [4] [5]

Dias represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, where she placed in the top 20.

Miss Brazil 2019, officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2019, was the 65th edition of the Miss Brazil beauty pageant which held on 9 March 2019 at São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The event was broadcast by Rede Bandeirantes network nationally. 27 candidates from all the each States of Brazil and the Federal District participated in the pageant. At the end of the event, Mayra Dias of Amazonas crowned Júlia Horta of Minas Gerais as her successor. Horta represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2019 pageant and placed Top 20.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 was the 29th edition of the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. It was held on February 8, 2020, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Nariman Battikha of Venezuela crowned Regina Peredo of México as her successor at the end of the event. This was Mexico’s first victory in 11 years and second overall.

The competition was filmed on 7 November 2021 on board the MSC Preziosa, and aired on 9 November. Teresa Stela Barbosa Silva Santos is a Brazilian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Brazil 2021. As Miss Brazil, she represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2021. Santos had previously been crowned Miss Ceará 2021 and Miss Ceará 2018, and placed as the second runner-up at Miss Brazil 2018. She is the fourth woman from Ceará to win Miss Brazil.

Miss Brazil CNB 2018 was the 29th edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 4th under CNB Miss Brazil. The contest took place on August 11, 2018. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Miss Brazil World 2011 was the 22nd edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 6th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on August 13, 2011. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions competed for the title. Kamilla Salgado of Pará crowned Juceila Bueno of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the contest. Bueno represented Brazil at Miss World 2011. The contest was held at the Hotel do Frade in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Ismelys Milagros Del Valle Velásquez Lugo is a Venezuelan model, tv host and beauty pageant titleholder. She is the winner of the beauty titles of Miss Mesoamerica 2021, Reinado Internacional del Café 2022 and Miss Supranational Venezuela 2022.

Miss Amazonas is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Amazonas at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. It is also the first and the oldest pageant in the state. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. The competition was organized for many years by the ceremonial Lucius Gonçalves as a director, but in 2019, it was TV Bandeirantes Amazonas who carried out the contest. Since 2021, Miro Sampaio has been the State Director. Amazonas is the only state in the Northern Region of Brazil to have two crowns in the national contest:

Miss Grand Brazil 2019 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held on February 28, 2019, at the Dall'Onder Grande Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. Twenty-two contestants, who qualified for the national stage through state contests held by the Concurso Nacional de Beleza, competed for the title, of whom a nutrition student and model resident of Mooca representing the state of São Paulo, Marjorie Marcelle, was elected the winner. She later represented Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2019 contest held that year on October 25 in Venezuela, and was named the fourth runner-up.

Miss Brazil 2023, officially Miss Universe Brazil 2023, was the 69th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, held on July 8, 2023 at São Paulo. It is the third under the new Miss Universe Brazil management.
