Metafroneta minima is a species of sheet weaver spider endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described in 1979 by A.D Blest from a female specimen. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum. [1]
This species is recorded at 3.36mm in length. [1]
At present, this species has only been found in Fiordland, New Zealand. [1]
