Miangaran-e Olya (Persian : ميانگران عليا‎, also Romanized as Mīāngarān-e ‘Olyā, Mīān Garān-e ‘Olyā, and Meyāngarān ‘Olyā; also known as Mīāngarān-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Howmeh-ye Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Izeh County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 588, in 107 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Howmeh-ye Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Izeh County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,813, in 1,587 families. The rural district has 20 villages.
