Middleton is a small village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. [2] It is situated on the A170 road to the west of Pickering.

There is a Church dedicated to St Andrew which is Grade I listed. Above the entrance to the Church is a sundial that dates back to 1782. [3]

Middleton Hall, next to the church, is a Grade II Listed house dating from the mid 18th century. [4]

The village was part of the Ryedale district between 1974 and 2023. It is now administered by North Yorkshire Council.

Church Houses is a hamlet in Farndale, North Yorkshire, England. The hamlet is just to the east of the River Dove in upper Farndale, and is about 150 metres (490 ft) above sea level. The nearest town to the south is Kirkbymoorside, 8 miles (13 km) away, and Castleton is also 8 miles (13 km) but to the north. It is one of three hamlets in the Farndale valley, though it is sometimes referred to as a village, and on account of the church just to the east, although the hamlet only consists of seven buildings. The hamlet is within the North York Moors national park area.

Heslerton is a civil parish in the former Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. It contains twelve listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England. Of these, one is listed at Grade I, the highest of the three grades, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade. The parish contains the villages of East Heslerton and West Heslerton and the surrounding area. The listed buildings consist of two churches and associated structures, houses, a dovecote and a milestone.
