The first runner-up entered Hispanoamericana 2009, the second runner-up entered Miss Continente Americano 2009, the third runner-up entered Miss Globe International 2010, and the fourth runner-up entered in Miss Bikini International 2010. Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, was invited to the pageant.

Señorita República Dominicana 1978 was held on December 14, 1977. There were 28 candidates who competed for the national crown. The winner represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 1978. The Señorita República Dominicana Mundo will enter Miss World 1978. Only contestants for 27 provinces and one municipality entered. For the top 10 they showed their evening gown and answered questions so they could go to the top 5. In the top 5 they answered more questions.

The 15th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Arena Monterrey of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on September 20, 2008. Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas. Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Elisa Nájera. She was the second Jalisciense to win this Title.

The winner represented Uruguay at Miss Universe 2006, Reina Hispanoamericana 2006 and Miss Continente Americano 2006. The First Runner-Up was entered for Miss Maja Mundial 2006; the Second Runner-Up Miss Intercontinental 2006; the Third Runner-Up Miss Globe International 2006 and the Fourth Runner-Up Supermodel of the World 2006. The Best Departmental Costume would be used in Miss Universe.

Marianne Cruz González is a Dominican TV host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2008 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2008.

Miss Mundo Dominicana 2011 was held September 20, 2011, in Renaissance Auditorio de Festival del Hotel Jaragua, Santo Domingo. The Miss Mundo Dominicana winner represented the Dominican Republic in Miss World 2011, the Miss RD Internacional entered Miss International 2011, Miss Supranational RD entered Miss Supranational 2012, and the Miss Tourism Queen RD entered Miss Tourism Queen International 2011. The first runner up entered the Reinado Internacional del Café 2012. The winner was crowned by Sofinel Báez, Miss International Dominicana 2010.

Reinado Internacional del Café 2015 was held in Manizales, Colombia, on January 10, 2015. At the end of the event, the outgoing queen Priscilla Durand Reina Internacional del Café 2014 from Brazil crowned Yuri Uchida of Japan as his successor.
