Miss South Africa 2021 was the 63rd edition of the Miss South Africa pageant. It was held on 16 October 2021 at the Grand West Arena, Cape Town. Shudufhadzo Musida crowned Lalela Mswane as her successor at the end of the event. She went on to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2021 and Miss Supranational 2022. [2] [3] She finished as second-runner up at Miss Universe 2021 and was later crowned as Miss Supranational 2022. [4] [5]

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia that sends its winners to represent the country at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant also sends representatives to Miss Supranational and Miss Charm pageant, by giving the Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata titles to the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.

The Miss South Africa is a national beauty pageant in South Africa that selects South African representatives to compete in one of the Big Four international beauty pageants Miss Universe, and also selects another representative to participate in Sub-major international pageant Miss Supranational. The Miss South Africa organisation resorted to a contemporary format in selecting representatives which was inaugurated in 2018. Following their newer method, both a Miss World South Africa and a Miss Universe South Africa were selected as representatives. From 2021 onwards, the winner of Miss South Africa will be competing in Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational. The current Miss South Africa 2023 is Natasha Joubert. On May 11, 2023, the Miss South Africa Organisation has lost its license as a Miss World licensee holder to Carol Bouwer Productions, which has taken over the license of Miss World South Africa pageant.

Miss South Africa 2018 was the 60th edition of Miss South Africa. It was held on 27 May 2018 at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. It was simulcasted as a live broadcast on M-Net and Mzansi Magic, and was hosted by Bonang Matheba. For the first time, two separate delegates were selected to represent South Africa at Miss World and Miss Universe, but only one was crowned Miss South Africa.

Tamaryn Nxumalo is a South African beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss South Africa 2018. She represented South Africa in the Miss Universe 2018 competition and placed as the first runner-up.

Miss South Africa 2019 was the 61st edition of the Miss South Africa pageant. It was held on 9 August 2019 at Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria, Gauteng. Tamaryn Green of Western Cape crowned her successor Zozibini Tunzi of Eastern Cape at the end of the event. Tunzi represented South Africa in Miss Universe 2019 and was crowned Miss Universe while 1st Runner-Up Sasha-Lee Olivier represented the country in Miss World 2019. Olivier assumed the title of Miss South Africa 2019 due to Tunzi winning the Miss Universe title.

Zozibini Tunzi, also known as Zozi Tunzi, is a South African model, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2019. Tunzi had previously been crowned Miss South Africa 2019. She is the third woman from South Africa and the first black South African woman to win the title.

Miss South Africa 2020 was the 62nd edition of the Miss South Africa pageant. The final pageant was held on 24 October 2020 in The Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, with a 2-hour live broadcast being simulcast on M-Net and Mzansi Magic. The pageant was also televised live on YouTube to audiences around the world.

Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant, started in 2009, and with most contests held in Poland. A parallel male contest, Mister Supranational, was launched in 2016, also in Poland.

Natasha Joubert is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss South Africa 2023. She was previously the second runner-up in Miss South Africa 2020, and later represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.

Nguyễn Huỳnh Kim Duyên is a Vietnamese model and beauty pageant titleholder. She placed 1st Runner-up at Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 and was later appointed Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 to compete at Miss Universe 2021 in Israel, where she placed in the top 16. On February 22, 2022, she was appointed to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022. During the coronation night, she finished as the 2nd Runner-up. This is the highest achievement for Vietnam at Miss Supranational, breaking the record of Daniela Nguyễn Thu Mây at Miss Supranational 2011, who placed 3rd Runner-up.

Miss Supranational 2022 was the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, held on 15 July 2022, at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Chanique Rabe of Namibia crowned Lalela Mswane of South Africa at the end of the event. This edition marked the first back to back win for contestants from Africa, and the first Black woman who won Miss Supranational.

Mister Supranational 2022 was the 6th edition of the Mister Supranational, held on July 16, 2022 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Varo Vargas of Peru crowned Luis Daniel Gálvez of Cuba at the end of the event. This edition marked the first delegate from Caribbean to win Mister Supranational.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Lalela Mswane</span> South African beauty queen, Miss South Africa 2021

Lalela Lali Mswane is a South African model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Supranational 2022. She was previously crowned Miss South Africa 2021 and in her private capacity, participated at the Miss Universe 2021, placing second runner up. It is important to note that her appearance in Miss Universe was not on behalf of South Africa, as the South African government had denounced Israel due to its ongoing violence against the people of Palestine.

Miss South Africa 2022, the 64th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant was held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Incumbent winner, Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal crowned Ndavi Nokeri of Limpopo as her successor. Nokeri will go on to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2022 where she placed as Top 16.

Miss Supranational 2023 was the 14th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, held on 14 July 2023 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. Lalela Mswane of South Africa, crowned her successor, Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador, at the end of the event.

Miss Diva 2022 was the 10th anniversary edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on 30 October 2022. At the end of the event, Harnaaz Sandhu crowned Divita Rai as her successor. She represented India in the Miss Universe 2022 pageant and placed in the top 16. Ritika Khatnani crowned Pragnya Ayyagari as her successor. She competed in the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant representing India. She placed in the top 12 and was crowned as Miss Supranational Asia 2023. Sonal Kukreja also crowned Ojasvi Sharma as the successor to Liva Miss Popular Choice 2022.

Miss South Africa 2023 was the 65th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant, held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Ndavi Nokeri of Limpopo crowned Natasha Joubert of Gauteng as her successor at the end of the event.
