The Miss South Dakota Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of South Dakota in the Miss Teen USA pageant.
South Dakota's highest placement was in 1986 when Valerie Marsden placed 4th runner-up to Allison Brown of Oklahoma. [1] Their most recent placement was in 2024, when Olivia Odenbrett placed in the top 20.
Four Miss South Dakota Teen USA titleholders have won the Miss South Dakota USA pageant and competed at Miss USA. [2]
The pageant was first held in 1982 to select a winner to represent the state at Miss Teen USA 1983. [3] It has been directed by Future Productions since 2002 and is a subsidiary of the Miss Universe Organization. [4] It has been held in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, Rapid City, Pierre , Brookings, Brandon, and Watertown. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
The current titleholder, Olivia Odenbrett of Brandon was crowned on May 12, 2024 at the Watertown Event Center in Watertown. She represented South Dakota for the title of Miss Teen USA 2024 in August 2024 and placed in the top 20. [11]

KDLT-TV is a television station in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States, affiliated with NBC and Fox. It is owned by Gray Media alongside ABC affiliate KSFY-TV. The two stations share studios in Courthouse Square on 1st Avenue South in Sioux Falls; KDLT-TV's transmitter is located southeast of the city near Rowena.
The Miss North Dakota USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of North Dakota in the Miss USA pageant. Since 2010, it is directed by Future Productions based in Savage, Minnesota.
The Miss Colorado Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Colorado in the Miss Teen USA pageant. From 1993 to 2006, the Miss Colorado Teen USA state pageant was directed by Carol Hirata and the Carlton Group, based in Bellvue, Colorado. In 2007, it was taken over by Future Productions, based in Savage, Minnesota, which also directs pageants in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. The pageant have been held in Loveland, Greeley and other cities.
