Mission:Impossible:Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture is the official soundtrack for the 1996 film Mission:Impossible . The soundtrack was a success,peaking at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and spawning the top-10 hit "Theme from Mission:Impossible" by U2 members Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen,Jr.
"Theme from Mission:Impossible" was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of 500,000 copies on July 2,1996,while the soundtrack reached gold status just two weeks later on July 16.
Note:Only five of the fifteen tracks on the album (Clayton &Mullen's first rendition of Lalo Schifrin's theme music,the contribution of The Cranberries and the three Danny Elfman score suites) are actually heard in the movie.

Adam Charles Clayton is an English-born Irish musician who is the bassist of the rock band U2. He has resided in County Dublin,Ireland since his family moved to Malahide in 1965,when he was five years old. Clayton attended Mount Temple Comprehensive School,where he met schoolmates with whom he co-founded U2 in 1976. A member of the band since its inception,he has recorded 14 studio albums with U2.
No Need to Argue is the second studio album by Irish alternative rock band the Cranberries,released on 3 October 1994. It is the band's best selling album,and has sold 17 million copies worldwide as of 2014. It contains the band's most successful single,"Zombie". The album's mood is darker and harsher than that on Everybody Else Is Doing It,So Why Can't We?,released a year before.
Original Soundtracks 1 is a studio album recorded by rock band U2 and Brian Eno under the pseudonym Passengers as a side project. Released on 6 November 1995,the album is a collection of songs written for mostly imaginary films. Owing to Eno's involvement as a full songwriting partner and the album's experimental nature,the moniker "Passengers" was chosen to distinguish it from U2's conventional albums. It was commercially unnoticed by the band's standards and received generally mixed reviews. Music from and Inspired by Spider-Man 2 is the soundtrack album for the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. As a whole,the album reached the top 10 of the U.S. album charts and the top 40 of the Australian album charts. "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional reached the top of a world composite soundtrack chart in June 2004 and the top 20 of a composite world and U.S. modern rock chart. "We Are" by Ana Johnsson was a major success in Europe,charting in almost every European country. "Ordinary" by Train was on the U.S. adult top 40 singles charts. "I Am" by Killing Heidi was added to the Australian version of the soundtrack and released as a single in the country. It debuted and peaked at #16 on the ARIA Charts on July 19,2004.
Space Jam:Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture is the original soundtrack album of the 1996 film starring Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes cast. An album featuring the film's score by James Newton Howard was also released. The soundtrack was released by Warner Sunset and Atlantic Records on October 29,1996. "I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly was first released on the soundtrack.

Music from and Inspired by Spider-Man is a 2002 soundtrack album for the film Spider-Man. Although it contains a portion of the film score by Danny Elfman,a more complete album of Elfman's work was released as Spider-Man:Original Motion Picture Score. "All in the Suit That You Wear" by the group Stone Temple Pilots was pulled out at the last minute when they could not get it as the lead track.

Rahman,who planned the score in two months and completed it in 20 days,a far shorter time period than usual. The soundtrack has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score,BAFTA Award for Best Film Music,and two Academy Awards,one for Best Original Music Score and the other for Best Original Song for "Jai Ho". The soundtrack has also won two Grammy Awards,one for the album itself and another for the song "Jai Ho". The latter song would be reworked by Ron Fair and The Pussycat Dolls into an English language adaptation "Jai Ho! " which would go on to become and international hit for the group. The soundtrack sold over two million units worldwide.

The lead single,"I Don't Wanna Live Forever",was performed by Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik and was released on December 9,2016. The single was commercially successful,reaching number five on United Kingdom and number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The film's soundtrack was released in two separate versions;one for the 19 popular artists songs used in the film,and another separate release for the original score composed for the film by Danny Elfman. Two of Elfman's themes were also included on the popular artists version of the soundtrack release.

Released by Columbia Records and Sony Music after the broadcasting of the series' first season on The WB network,it features a set of pop rock and folk pop songs by artists such as Sophie B.
