Mohammad Gulrez is an International Relations &Global Governance expert. He has served as Pro Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University from 22 June 2022 to 22 April 2024. Previously,on 2 April 2023,Prof Gulrez took over the charge as officiating Vice Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University and served there till 22 April 2024. He has also served as Dean,Faculty of International Studies,Director,Centre for South African &Brazilian Studies &Coordinator for Conflict Resolution &Peace Studies Programme at Aligarh Muslim University. Prof Gulrez was on a Deputation from Indian Council for Cultural Relations,Ministry of External Affairs,Govt of India for a period of 6 months to the India Chair at University of Colombo,Sri Lanka from July 2017 to December 2017. From January 1999 to January 2004,he worked as visiting Faculty,Department of Political and Administrative Sciences at the National University of Rwanda,Central Africa. Prof Gulrez was the Consultant/Researcher,Good Governance (Component) for the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) Project,Govt. of Rwanda (2002). Prof Gulrez is also on the International Advisory Board,Asian Review Institute of Asian Studies,Chulalongkorn University,Bangkok,Thailand. He is also the Member of Academic Forum,Asia Pacific Observatory,Montevideo,Uruguay. He has also been associated with the Foreign Policy Analysis Program,Mershon Centre,Ohio State University,Columbus,Ohio and Muslim Politics Project,Council On Foreign Relations Programme,New York,United States of America.
Prof Gulrez is currently working on Confidence Building Measures focusing on both the bi-lateral and multi-lateral tracks of the peace process. Prof Gulrez has participated in seminars and workshops in USA,Iran,Pakistan,Libya,South Africa,Thailand,United Kingdom,Ghana,Senegal,Saudi Arabia,Sri Lanka,Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.
Professor Mohammad Gulrez has also been selected in the list of ‘100 Notable alumni of Aligarh Muslim University’ by the Edu Rank for the year 2022.
His area of specialization is Conflict Resolution,Ethnic Conflicts,Civil Society,and Poverty Alleviation.
Prof. Gulrez authored/edited seven books &monographs and published papers in the national and international referred journals. Prof. Gulrez also presented 100 (approx.) Research papers/projects National and International Seminars in India and abroad.
Mohammad Yunus Khan was a member of Indian Foreign Service. He served as ambassador to Turkey,Indonesia,Iraq,and Spain. He promoted trade between India and the rest of the world through regular trade fairs and the establishment of exhibition complex at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. He also headed erstwhile Trade Fair Authority of India (TFAI) which is now rebranded as India Trade Promotion Organization. The Government of India awarded him the civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan.

The Aligarh Institute Gazette was the first multilingual journal of India,introduced,edited,and published in 1866 by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan which was read widely across the country. Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre Or AMU-Malappuram Campus is one of the prominent educational institution of Aligarh Muslim University in south India in the state of Kerala in Malappuram district near Perinthalmanna at Cherukara post. It was established in 2010 by the ministry of Human resource and Development,central government of India. The President of India in her capacity as the Visitor accorded sanction to establish two Centers of Aligarh Muslim University,one at Malappuram and the other at Murshidabad in 2010.

Abdul Azim Islahi is a professor at the Islamic Economics Institute,Jeddah. He has spent more than 30 years in research,teaching and expanding the frontiers of the discipline of Islamic economics,King Abdulaziz University. He obtained his PhD from the Aligarh Muslim University,India in 1981. He is an authority on the history of Islamic economic thought.
The Aligarh Movement was the push to establish a modern system of Western-style scientific education for the Muslim population of British India,during the later decades of the 19th century. The movement's name derives from the fact that its core and origins lay in the city of Aligarh in Central India and,in particular,with the foundation of the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. The founder of the oriental college,and the other educational institutions that developed from it,was Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. He became the leading light of the wider Aligarh Movement.

The Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union (AMUSU) is the official Students' Union of the Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh,India. The Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union is the university-wide representative body for students and is autonomous in nature. It works according to their own Constitution written by Amin A. Bulbuliya. It is primarily responsible for building and preserving a healthy political culture and an atmosphere of open debates on the campus. The Law Society is a body of students from Aligarh Muslim University's faculty of law. The body has produced lawyers,judges and politicians. It is an educational and representative body with an estimated 1000 active members. It is involved in training and preparing students for various competitive activities like Moot Court,Legal debate,Quiz,Judgment writing etc. of the Faculty. It was founded in 1894 as a non-profit student organization. It has long traditional character which always uplifts the students' participation and performance in relation to legal affairs in different arena. The Dean,Faculty of Law,Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh is the President of the Society.
Mohammad Mohibul Haque,or Muhibul Haque is a scholar and professor of international politics,Indian polity,minority rights and human rights at the Department of Political Science at Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal for Excellence during his studies. He speaks English,Hindi,and Urdu languages. Haque is also a writer and author of articles,research papers,chapters in the edited books on socio-political issues. He has also authored a book. He has done research on the topic of The Rights of Minorities in India:The Role of the National Commission for Minorities.
Abrarul Haq Haqqi was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar who established Ashraful Madaris in Hardoi. He was a disciple of Ashraf Ali Thanwi.
Shakeel Ahmed Samdani was an Indian academic scholar who served as the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University. He was an alumnus of the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and the Aligarh Muslim University. He established Sir Syed Awareness Forum and served as its director. He was a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and authored books including Uniform Civil Code:Problems and Prospects,Maintenance of Muslim Divorcee and Understanding Human Rights and Law.
