Monkey Business (stylized as Monkey Bu$iness) is the third studio album by Polish singer Margaret. It was released only in Poland. The album was made available to stream exclusively on Tidal on 29 May 2017. Its deluxe edition, with two additional tracks, was released exclusively to Empik on 1 June 2017. The album was officially released on 2 June 2017 by Extensive Music and Magic Records. [4]

Contents

Monkey Business's lead single, "What You Do", was released on 12 May 2017, followed by "Byle jak" ("Anyhow") on 21 December. [5] [6] It also includes the single "Blue Vibes", which was recorded for the Polish-language version of the 2017 animated feature film, Smurfs: The Lost Village , and did not promote the album. [7]

Monkey Business peaked at number eight on Polish Albums Chart. [8]

It was included on her debut studio album Add the Blonde (2014), and released to Polish contemporary hit radio as its third single on 23 February 2015. The "Special Limited Box" edition of Add the Blonde released on 23 December 2016 included a 7-inch vinyl of the single "Cool Me Down" with "Heartbeat" as the A-side. "Heartbeat" was written by Margaret and Joakim Buddee. Some of its lyrics were influenced by Michael Jackson's song "Beat It". The single reached number 11 on the Polish Airplay Chart.

Just the Two of Us is a collaborative album by Canadian singer Matt Dusk and Polish singer Margaret. It consists of their interpretations of jazz standards. Dusk handled its production, and Margaret and Shelly Berger co-produced it. The album was recorded in Canada and Poland. It was released on 6 November 2015, through Magic Records, only in Poland. Its limited edition was released the same day exclusively to Empik. On 21 January 2016, it was released on a 12-inch vinyl with altered tracklist.

The song was written by Alex Papaconstantinou, Anderz Wrethov, Arash, Linnea Deb, Robert Uhlmann and Viktor Svensson; all but Wrethov and Deb, produced the track. The song is a combination of pop music, reggae and electropop.
