Chemistry is a Japanese pop duo, consisting of Yoshikuni Dōchin and Kaname Kawabata.

Jun Onose, better known by his stage name J, is a Japanese musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as bassist and co-founder of the rock band Luna Sea since 1986. After they disbanded in 2000 he focused on his solo career, for which he performs lead vocals and bass. He rejoined Luna Sea when they reunited in August 2010.

Yuzuru Hanyu is a Japanese figure skater, ice show producer and director, author, and philanthropist. Regarded as one of the greatest figure skaters in history for his well-rounded skills, achievements, innovations, longevity, popularity, and impact on the sport, he started skating at four years old and competed in the men's singles discipline from 2004 to 2022. Hanyu is the first male single skater in 66 years since Dick Button to win back-to-back Olympic titles, and also the youngest and first Olympic champion from Asia in that discipline. He is a two-time World champion, a six-time Japanese national champion, and the first single skater to win four consecutive Grand Prix Finals (2014–2017). With his win at the 2020 Four Continents Championships, he became the first male single skater to complete the Super Slam, having won all major international junior and senior titles in the course of his career. He is also the only male single skater besides Jan Hoffmann to medal at seven World Championships in the post-war era since 1946. Hanyu broke world records 19 times, the most in singles since the introduction of the ISU Judging System in 2003, and was the first skater to land a quadruple loop jump in international competition among other achievements.

The band's releases were originally self-released in Sendai, after which they were signed to independent label and management Under Horse Records, and released material through there between 2004 and 2005. In 2005, Monkey Majik were signed to major label Avex Entertainment, and continue to release under the Binyl Records sub-label.

Referring to the historical Buddhist land on the Indian subcontinent, "Gandhara" was used as the ending theme song for the first season of the television drama Saiyūki, known in the English speaking world as Monkey. "Gandhara" was originally released in Japan on October 1, 1978, but it was later released in the United Kingdom in 1980 to coincide with the British broadcast of Monkey. "Gandhara" reached number 2 on both the Oricon and The Best Ten charts in Japan, while the British release reached 56 on the UK Singles Chart.
Super Modern Artistic Performance is the eighteenth studio album of Japanese boy band SMAP, released on September 24, 2008 by Victor Entertainment in Japan. The album features work from Japanese-Canadian pop-rock band Monkey Majik, Korean singer-songwriter Park Jin-young, Japanese electronic musician and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata and Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. The album debuted and peaked at number one in the Oricon Weekly Charts with 214,000 units sold on its first week of release and is certified Platinum by the RIAJ. This has made SMAP achieved total album sales of ten million, being the second musical group of vocalists after Chage and Aska to achieve the sales total.

The album itself is a dedication to Sendai and all of those affected by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, with songs that are reflective of this theme. The lead single from the album is "Headlight", followed by "HERO". "Ki wo Ueta Otoko" was released in 2011 as a digital charity single for the earthquakes.
Kamen Rider Zero-One is a Japanese tokusatsu drama series produced by Toei Company and TV Asahi. It is the 30th series in the Kamen Rider franchise and the first series in the Reiwa period. The show premiered on September 1, 2019, following the finale of Kamen Rider Zi-O, and joined Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger, and later, Mashin Sentai Kiramager in the Super Hero Time lineup before concluding on August 30, 2020.

Fantasy on Ice (ファンタジー・オン・アイス) is an annual touring ice show in Japan produced by CIC Co., Ltd. The show emerged from the "Philippe Candeloro Japan Tour 2001", named after retired French figure skater Philippe Candeloro, and was held under the name "Fantasy on Ice" the following two years. After a seven-year break, the tour was revived in 2010 and got expanded to larger venues in the metropolitan area of Tokyo in 2014 and Kobe in 2015.
Yuzuru Hanyu Notte Stellata is an annual ensemble ice show led by Japanese figure skater and two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu, and organized by Nippon TV and its local station Miyagi TV. The show is a commemoration event of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, also known as the "Great East Japan Earthquake" or "3.11", and is held on three days in March at Sekisui Heim Super Arena in Rifu, Miyagi, which served as a morgue at the time of the disaster. The show has a duration of 90 minutes and features a cast of international professional skaters as well as a special guest from another sport or performing art field, teaming up for new unique collaborations with figure skating.
Japanese figure skater and two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu has written an autobiography series titled Blue Flames that consists of four volumes and has been sold with over 400,000 copies by June 2023. All royalties of the series were donated to his home rink Ice Rink Sendai, which had been severely damaged after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. Beyond that, he has published various compilation and photo books in Japan in collaboration with renowned sports writers and photographers, of which multiple ones have made it to the Oricon top 10 charts of best-selling books.
