Montenegrin Water Polo Cup (Montenegrin: Crnogorski vaterpolski kup) is a national water polo cup played in Montenegro. It is organized by the Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro.
Before Montenegrin independence, clubs from that Republic played in national water polo Yugoslav Cup and Cup of Serbia and Montenegro. Most successful was PVK Jadran with three trophies won. VK Primorac won two Yugoslav cups.

Except Montenegrin First League of Water Polo as a top-tier league competition, after the independence, Water polo Federation of Montenegro established Montenegrin Cup as a second elite national tournament. Inaugural season of Montenegrin Cup was 2006-07, and by now most successful was PVK Jadran with 12 titles (15 including Yugoslav Cup trophies). Except them, trophy of Montenegrin Cup, during the history, won VK Primorac and VK Budva.
From season 2016-17, there is a final-four tournament in Montenegrin Cup. Since then, three times the host of final four tournament was Nikšić and once Podgorica.

Aleksandar Ćirić is a Serbian retired water polo player and current head coach of European powerhouse Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Team, who played for two Olympic bronze medal squads, one for FR Yugoslavia at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the other for Serbia at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and one Olympic silver medal squad for Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. His most notable achievements during his club career are: winning the Euroleague with VK Bečej in 2000, when he gained the title of MVP of competition; and four LEN Cups, three with Brescia and one with VK Radnički Kragujevac.
Igor Milanović is a Serbian professional water polo head coach and former player. He is considered one of the best water polo players of all time. Milanović had an illustrious professional career spanning twenty years.

Slobodan Soro is a Serbian-born Brazilian water polo goalkeeper.
Andrija Prlainović is a Serbian professional water polo player widely regarded as one of the greatest players ever. He was a member of the Serbia men's national water polo teams that won bronze medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and gold medals in 2016 and 2020. He also held the world title in 2009 and 2015 and the European title in 2006, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. In 2011, he won the LEN Euroleague with VK Partizan and in 2013 with Red Star Belgrade, where he was one of the best scorers.
Aleksandar Ivović, is a Montenegrin professional water polo player. He started his career at PVK Jadran, which is his first senior team to compete for. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary and then lost to Serbia in the bronze medal match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was again a member of Montenegro's team, where they lost to Croatia in the semi-final, and then lost to Serbia again in the bronze medal match, this time 11–12. He is considered one of the best defenders of all time and by many the top in his position in the world as he can transform the entire defense of his team.
Mlađan Janović is a Montenegrin water polo player. He currently plays for AN Brescia and he is a long-standing member of the Montenegrin national water polo team. He was part of the Montenegro national team that was crowned European Champion at the 2008 European Championship in Málaga.
Nikola Janović is a Montenegrin water polo player and the former Minister of Sports and Youth of Montenegro. He was one of the best water polo player in the world. He was a captain of the Montenegro men's national water polo team and a World and European champion with SRJ, Serbia and Montenegro, and Montenegro. He is a member of the Parliament of Montenegro.

The Regional Water Polo League, commonly known as the Regional League or Adriatic League, is a regional water polo league in Southeast Europe. Originally, the league featured clubs from Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia. In later years, clubs from Serbia joined the league and in one season club from Italy participated in the league.

The Montenegrin volleyball Cup is the national volleyball cup for men teams played in Montenegro. Inaugural season of Cup is held on season 2006-07, after the independence of Montenegro.
Montenegrin water polo clubs have participated in the LEN competitions since the season 1986-97.
The first team which ever competed at the European cups was VK Primorac Kotor. Except them, in LEN competitions played also PVK Jadran Herceg Novi, VK Budva, VA Cattaro Kotor and PVK Val Prčanj.
The biggest success in the history of Montenegrin waterpolo was that of VK Primorac, who won the title in LEN Champions League 2009. Another Montenegrin holder of European trophy is VA Cattaro.
