MotorStorm: RC is a 2012 racing video game by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita computer entertainment systems. [3] It is the fifth and most recent game in the MotorStorm series.
The game features 8 styles of vehicles, 4 returning areas from previous MotorStorm games, and has 16 tracks built out of them. The Pro-Am Expansion and the Carnival Expansion DLC, both released in 2012, add new tracks and vehicles to the game. [4] [5] The game features split screen multiplayer, cross-saving and a single purchase for both versions of the game. [3]

MotorStorm: RC received "favourable" reviews on both platforms according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. [7] [6]
Eurogamer praised the use of instantaneous restarts, minimal loading times, fast pacing, and a dubstep soundtrack in order to create an engaging gameplay loop. [10] IGN called the title "refreshingly simple" while lauding its sharp handling model, live leaderboards, and amount of content. Pocket Gamer said that MotorStorm: RC was "...an extremely forward-thinking game in terms of simplicity of play, online connectivity, and pricing. [13] Push Square stated that the title was "utterly essential" and said that it served as "...a successful test bed for one of the PlayStation Vita's most promising features", while saying that the social functions "...[brought] longevity to the package despite its meager price point." [18] VideoGamer.com praised the addictive gameplay and deep handling model but found the game to be visually a bit rough on the Vita. [19]
The Digital Fix gave the Vita version nine out of ten, calling it "a fantastic example of a racing game, a handheld game and a fine example of how to use multiplayer without just having classic multiplayer." [20] Digital Spy gave it four stars out of five, saying, "Who would have thought that a budget digital title would actually outshine some of the big guns of the PS Vita launch lineup? It's the perfect amalgamation of old and new that will please MotorStorm fans and the nostalgia brigade alike." [21] Metro gave it eight out of ten, calling it "The most enjoyable MotorStorm game by far and arguably the best game on the PS Vita - or at the very least the best value for money." [22]
During the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences' 16th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, the game was nominated for the "Racing Game of the Year" award, which went to Need for Speed: Most Wanted . [23]

As of January 2012, the online multiplayer servers for the game have been permanently shut down.

The game was announced by Sony after their acquisition of Evolution Studios and it was released on 28 October 2008 in North America. The game sold over one million units as of 9 December 2008. As of 1 October 2012, the online servers for the game have been permanently shut down.
God of War is an action-adventure game franchise created by David Jaffe and developed by Sony's Santa Monica Studio. It began in 2005 on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) video game console and has become a flagship series for PlayStation, consisting of nine installments across multiple platforms. Based on ancient mythologies, the series' plot follows Kratos, a Spartan warrior who becomes the God of War and comes into conflict with various mythological pantheons. The earlier games in the series are based on Greek mythology and see Kratos follow a path of vengeance against the Olympian gods; the later games are based on Norse mythology and see Kratos go on a path of redemption while also introducing his son Atreus as a secondary protagonist.
Fat Princess is an action real-time strategy video game developed by Titan Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It was released in North America, Europe and Australia on July 30, 2009, and in Japan on December 25 the same year, as Pocchari Princess. Dead Nation is a top-down shoot 'em up video game for the PlayStation 3 developed by video game developer Housemarque. It was released on November 30, 2010 in North America, and December 1 in the PAL region, on PlayStation Network. Dead Nation takes place in a world afflicted by a zombie apocalypse. The player can choose between a male or female character and battle different types of zombies. Dead Nation was part of Sony's "Welcome Back" package, created to resolve the initial PlayStation Network outage. In February 2014 a PlayStation 4 version of the game titled the Apocalypse Edition was announced along with the PlayStation Vita version. The original Road of Devastation downloadable content was included for the PS3 and Vita versions, and the PS4 version was free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in March 2014. The PS4 and Vita versions were released in Japan for release on May 29, 2014.
MotorStorm: Apocalypse is a 2011 racing video game by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is the fourth game in the MotorStorm series and the third for the PlayStation 3. The title was revealed shortly before the beginning of the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 on the PlayStation Blog by Evolution Studios on 6 June.
Virtua Tennis 4, known in Japan as Power Smash 4, is the third sequel to Sega's tennis game franchise, Virtua Tennis. It was released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii and PlayStation Vita. This is the first main series Virtua Tennis game to not have an arcade release before the console releases. An arcade version was also released, which is powered by the PC-based Sega RingEdge arcade system. There are two versions of the cabinet: an upright 4-player cabinet, and a deluxe 4-player cabinet.

Sound Shapes is a 2012 music platform video game developed by Queasy Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It was originally released in 2012 and a port for the PlayStation 4 was released in 2013. The game, designed by Jessica Mak and Shaw-Han Liem, is a side-scrolling platform game with a musical focus. The game also features the ability to create levels and share levels with other users. The Vita version of the game features use of the touch screen and back touch pad to place sounds of different musical instruments during creation of levels. Sound Shapes was shown at industry conference E3 in 2011 and picked up nominations for best of show award from media sites including IGN, 1UP, and Electric Playground. It also received 2 Game Critics Awards, and received three nominations at the 16th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.

The Last of Us is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Players control Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, across a post-apocalyptic United States. The Last of Us is played from a third-person perspective. Players use firearms and improvised weapons and can use stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated fungus. In the online multiplayer mode, up to eight players engage in cooperative and competitive gameplay.

Escape Plan is a puzzle video game developed by Fun Bits Interactive and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation Vita It was originally released as a launch title for the system. It is the debut game from new developer Fun Bits Interactive and is produced by Chris Millar, known for his previous work on Fat Princess. In previews of the game it was noted for its sharp, black-and-white visuals, gruesome yet humorous tone and its intuitive use of the PlayStation Vita's inputs including touch and gyroscopic control. A PlayStation 4 version was released in 2013.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a 2012 crossover fighting video game developed by SuperBot Entertainment, in conjunction with Bluepoint Games, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It features various characters drawn from different PlayStation video game franchises competing against each other in multiplayer battles. The game was released in November 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita video game consoles.
Entwined is a rhythm video game developed by Pixelopus and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 in June 2014. It was ported to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in July 2014. The game was announced at Sony's E3 media briefing on June 9, 2014 and was released worldwide on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4 on the same day. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita version were released approximately a month later, and since Entwined is a cross-buy title, these two versions are available at no extra cost for anyone who has purchased the PlayStation 4 version.
