Mr. Football Award (Florida)

The Florida Mr. Football Award is an honor given to the top high school football player in the state of Florida. Awarded by Dairy Farmers, Inc. and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association, many past winners have proceeded to have successful college careers and play in the National Football League.

Angela Tincher O'Brien is an American, former collegiate All-American, retired professional All-Star softball pitcher and coach. She most recently served as the pitching coach at Virginia Tech. The 2008–09 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 10, 2008, and ended with the 2009 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament's championship game on April 6, 2009, at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The season saw six different teams achieve the AP #1 ranking during the year. Oklahoma sophomore Blake Griffin was the dominant individual performer, sweeping National Player of the Year honors. The season began with North Carolina becoming the first unanimous preseason #1 team, and ended with the Tar Heels dominating the NCAA tournament en route to their fifth NCAA title. Cameron Sikander Boozer is an American basketball player who currently attends Christopher Columbus High School. In 2023, Boozer was named the boy's Gatorade National Player of the Year, and he is the second-overall recruit in the class of 2025. He is the son of former NBA player Carlos Boozer.
