Pot Noodle is a brand of instant noodle snack foods from the United Kingdom, available in a selection of flavours and varieties. This dehydrated food consists of noodles, assorted dried vegetables and flavouring powder. It is prepared by adding boiling water, which rapidly softens the noodles and dissolves the powdered sauce.
Cup Noodles is a brand of cup instant ramen developed in 1971 and manufactured by Japanese food company Nissin Foods. Single servings of the product are packaged in foam, plastic, or paper cups and are prepared by adding boiling water.

Indomie is a brand of instant noodle produced by the Indonesian company Indofood. Indofood itself is the largest instant noodle producer in the world with 16 factories. Over 28 billion packets of Indomie are produced annually, and the brand is also exported to more than 90 countries around the world. Indomie has been produced mainly in Indonesia since it was first introduced in June 1972; it has also been produced in Nigeria since 1995, and in Turkey since 2010. Science Noodles are a brand of instant noodle that is marketed in Taiwan by the Uni-President Enterprises Corporation. Unlike normal instant noodles, they are usually eaten without cooking the noodles. Instead, the bag is crushed with the ramen noodles inside, and seasoning added using the included spices. In fact, the real popularity of Science Noodles lies in this method of consumption, as it is eaten like a snack food. Because of this, most packaging no longer contains instructions for cooking the noodles.

Koka (可口) are a Singaporean brand of instant noodles. It is manufactured by Tat Hui Foods Pte. Ltd., a company founded in 1986. The noodles are available in a variety of flavours, as packets or cup noodles.
Buldak Ramen is a South Korean brand of instant noodle, produced by Samyang Foods since April 2012.

A spread is a prison meal made by inmates. Spreads are often made with commissary ingredients, such as instant ramen and corn puffs. Spreads can be simple meals, or elaborate and inventive combinations of ingredients. Spreads may be used to supplement or replace the government-mandated meals provided to prisoners by the prison, due to the unpalatable and insubstantial nature of many prison meals.
