The VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 was a race run by NASCAR Xfinity Series at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky, United States. It was first run in 2012, and was won by the winner of the Feed the Children 300, Austin Dillon. The distance of the race was 300 miles (480 km). This race was used as a filler for the Kentucky Indy 300 race that ran here from 2001 to 2011, Starting in 2016, it was the first race in the Round of 12 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs. On March 8, 2017, it was announced that Las Vegas Motor Speedway, another SMI track, would get a second Cup date, a second Xfinity date, and a second Truck date. While the Fall Cup race and Truck race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway went there, Kentucky lost this race and was moved to Las Vegas.

Josh Berry, in a dominating finish where his team, JR Motorsports finished 1-2-3, won the race after almost being involved in a wreck early in the race. Justin Allgaier and Noah Gragson would fill in the rest of the podium positions, finishing second and third, respectively.

2020 Alsco 300 (Las Vegas) Motor car race

The 2020 Alsco 300 was a NASCAR Xfinity Series race held on September 26, 2020. It was contested over 200 laps on the 1.50-mile (2.41 km) tri-oval. It was the twenty-seventh race of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and the first race of the playoffs, as well as the Round of 12. Stewart-Haas Racing driver Chase Briscoe collected his eighth win of the season.

The 2018 World of Westgate 200 was the 18th stock car race of the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, the second race of the Round of 8, and the inaugural running of the event. Despite an agreement, Speedway Motorsports would cancel one New Hampshire Motor Speedway weekend and add one race of each national series to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The race was held on Friday, September 14, 2018 in North Las Vegas, Nevada at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a 1.5 miles permanent D-shaped oval racetrack. The race was extended from its scheduled 134 laps to 144 laps due to numerous NASCAR overtime attempts. At race's end, Grant Enfinger would pull away from an ailing Brett Moffitt on the restart and pull away to win his 2nd career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and the first and only win of the season. To fill out then podium, Johnny Sauter and Justin Haley, both driving for GMS Racing would finish second and third, respectively.
