Navo is an unincorporated community in east central Denton County, Texas, United States, located along U.S. Highway 380 about 10 miles east of Denton, Texas.
According to the Handbook of Texas, Navo began in 1847 by Thomas Navo, its namesake. A post office existed from 1884–1907, and Navo had a population of 36 from the mid-1930s through the late 1980s. For many years the town had a grocery store and gas station, which has been used for several businesses off-and-on since. The population was 35 in 2000, though a few nearby subdivided communities of Denton have sprung up as the area between Denton and McKinney, Texas continues to grow in population. [1] The community of Paloma Creek [2] sits on what used to be considered Navo (which technically no longer exists). The Town of Little Elm, Texas has also annexed much of the local property not already included in Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts. Navo Fire Station and Navo Road continue to carry the name of the former community.
The Denton Independent School District serves area students. Nearby Navo Middle School is named for the small farming community.

The county, which was named for John B. Denton, was established in 1846. Denton County constitutes part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. In 2000, the census population was at 3,646. By the 2010 census, the city total had jumped to 25,898, making Little Elm one of the fastest-growing municipalities by percentage in Texas since 2000. The July 1, 2021 census estimates Little Elm's population as 51,042.

As of the 2010 census, the Paloma Creek CDP had a population of 2,501, while Paloma Creek South had a population of 2,753. As of 2022, the HOA currently estimates the population to be approximately 20,000.
Providence Village is a new town in Denton County, Texas, United States. Composed largely of a master-planned community, it includes approximately 1,700 homes and 5,750 people. At the time of the 2010 census, the town had not yet incorporated, and was instead listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as the "Providence" census-designated place, with a population of 4,786.
Paloma Creek South is a census-designated place (CDP) in eastern Denton County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Paloma Creek master-planned community. As of the 2010 census, Paloma Creek South had a population of 2,753.
