Geography

The Ryves Canal that originates from the Krishna river flows through the Nidamanur and is the main source of irrigation and drinking.It is bordered by Enikepadu in East,Gudavalli to the west, Poranki to the South nd Mustabad to North [1] [2]

Transport

State runs APSRTC bus services from Bus stand to Nidamanuru. It lies on National Highway 16. [3] Nidamanuru railway station serves with rail services. Nearest airport is Vijayawada international airport ( Gannavaram) which is 9KM away.

Education

School of Planning and Architecture was established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. [4] ZPHS Nidamanuru was one of the best govt schools in AP. It caters to the Enikepadu, Gudavalli etc. The school has 75yr old history to it. The literacy percentage of this town 95%. Currently Nidamanuru has couple of Intermediate pvt colleges like Narayana and Chaitanya. The town is very close to the engineering colleges like Siddhartha Engineering, PVP Siddhartha institute of technology, and SRK institute of technology. [5] Nidamanuru has Delhi public school available for the CBSE. [6] Reputed institutes like KKR Gowtham international school available for the residential schooling [7]

This Bus station is spread over an area of 28 acres of land and it is one of the largest Bus station in India preceding by Mofussil Bus Terminus in Chennai (36.5 acres) and following by Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station in Hyderabad (20 acres). It consists of four blocks, two main blocks serving departure terminal with 48 platforms and arrival terminal with 12 platforms, one RTC House serving as a NTR Administrative block headquarters of APSRTC and one block namely City Bus Port serving city buses. There are four entrances to the bus station, each serving as entrance and exit. The entries are from North Side (City Bus Port), East Side (Main entrances) and two on South Side (in front of NH-65 in Krishna Lanka).
