Baladas en Español is a Spanish language compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 21 October 1996 by EMI. The compilation was only issued in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking territories. It was a commercial success upon release, peaking in the top ten of several national record charts, and was certified gold or platinum in numerous territories, namely Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Spain. As of 2001, the record sold in excess of 1.2 million copies worldwide.
Amor a la Mexicana is the sixth studio album by Mexican singer Thalía, released on 24 June 1997, by EMI Latin. Recorded in the Crescent Moon Studios, Miami, with producers Emilio Estefan, Kike Santander, Bernardo Ossa, Pablo Flores, Roberto Blades and Javier Garza, the album blends a variety of genres bits of cumbia, salsa, and balladry.
"Reach" is a song by Cuban-American singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan, released in April 1996 by Epic Records. It was co-written by Estefan with Diane Warren and served as th official theme song of the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, US. The single was included on the official Atlanta 96 album, Rhythm of the Games, and later on Estefan's seventh studio album, Destiny (1996). It became a European hit, peaking within the top 10 in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway, and Spain, where it reached number two. In the UK, it peaked at number 15, while on the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 47 in June 1996. Outside Europe, it peaked at number 23 in Australia as well as number 42 on the US Billboard Hot 100. "Reach" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the ceremony in 1997, but lost out to Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart", which was also written by Diane Warren. The accompanying music video for the song was directed by Marcus Nispel and made in two different edits.

Released on 22 November 2005 by Warner Music Latina, the album features 24 previously recorded songs from Miguel's career with his record label as well as two new songs ; both songs were released as singles from the album. A special edition of the record was also released and features six extra songs as well as a DVD containing music videos from Miguel's career. Grandes Éxitos received a favorable review by AllMusic critic, Thom Jurek who commended Miguel's trajectory as an artist. Commercially, it reached number one in Mexico and the top ten in Argentina, Spain, Portugal, and the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. It was certified Multi-Platinum in Mexico and the United States (Latin) and Platinum in Spain.

"Le cose che vivi" is a song recorded by Italian singer Laura Pausini for her third Italian-language studio album, Le cose che vivi. Castro's version peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and the Billboard Latin Pop Songs charts in the United States. The song received a Billboard Latin Music Awards and a Lo Nuestro nomination for Pop Song of the Year. Pérez earned the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers award in the Pop/Ballad field.

The Barrio Boyzz were an American Latin pop group. The group was made up of Puerto Ricans who grew up in New York City. They gained popularity during the 1990s, when they became label-mates with Selena Quintanilla then landed their first Billboard number-one song entitled "Donde Quiera Que Estés" in 1993, from the album of the same name.
The discography of American Latin rap band The Barrio Boyzz consists of seven studio albums, five compilation albums, one holiday album, fourteen singles and four music videos. The Barrio Boyzz was formed in 1991 by Joe Jacket, who proposed creating a mainstream Latino group. They auditioned for chairman of EMI Records, Charles Koppelman, who signed the group to its sister label SBK Records. The group's debut album, Crazy Coolin' (1992), failed to make any impact on music charts, but its lead single "Muy Suavemente" peaked at number 36 on the US Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart. Their second studio album, Donde Quiera Que Estes (1994) reached the top 20 on Billboard's Latin charts. The album spawned three singles; "Cerca De Ti" and "Te Amaré", which peaked at number one and number 16 on the Hot Latin Tracks, respectively. The titular single, a duet with American Tejano pop singer Selena, peaked at number one and was logged atop the Hot Latin Tracks chart for six consecutive weeks.
